The Queen’s Tennis & Luncheon is Wednesday, September 23, and the morning runs in a sensible order: fruit and mimosas at half past eight, doubles while the courts are still cool, then a three-course lunch in the Mansion and a style show by Gypsy Pearl. Slate Theory is pouring. Bring a friend or two — $65 for members, $70 for guests. Call the tennis shop to put your name down.
