On this rainy day here in West Michigan, we are still dreaming about our recent trip to the Bahamas so we wanted to shine a spotlight on some of our divers who earned a new certification on the trip...

Join us in congratulating Alex, Will, and Jillian on their earning their PADI Deep Specialty! These divers can now confidently dive up to 130ft. It's a great specialty to do on a trip with us or on our upcoming local dive trip to Gilboa (September 11th-13th)!

RELEASE THE KRAKEN! 🐙

We are thrilled to announce our ADZ rash guards are here! This has been almost a year in the making, and are so excited to share them with you all!

We love how passionate our dive community is about local diving and shipwrecks. So we partnered with dive apparel brand Wanderlust Hats to customize a rash guard to show some love to our community...and now we release The Kraken!

Sizes available: S,M,L,XL,2XL (we also have the same sizes in Youth)
Cost: $35 (10% of the proceeds will be donated to West Michigan Underwater Preserve)

Dive shop owner fuel... Goldfish!

Our Bahamas travel crew knows how much Michael LOVED the goldfish on the boat. So now we have been gifted not just one but TWO bags of goldfish. We really do have the best dive community 🫶

Thank you anonymous goldfish gifter (or gifters) for keeping us fueled one bag at a time...😂

It's almost time for our SEPTEMBER Monthly Meet Up, and we have a really special pre-labor day weekend celebration planned!

Where: 601 Bond Apartments
When: Wednesday, September 2nd @ 6:30pm
Who: All are welcome! Whether you've been to a meet up before or this is your first, our dive group is incredibly welcoming to all. Feel free to bring spouses, friends, family, the more the merrier!

We will be grilling on the rooftop all evening long. Michael and Rachael will be bringing some chicken, steak, and veggie kabobs for all to enjoy 😋 Potluck style, if you would like to bring a side dish or dessert to contribute please let us know when you RSVP, and a google sign-up sheet will be sent along with parking/entrance instructions.

We are back from our Blackbeards Bahamas Trip! What an amazing week of diving, celebrating milestones, and community. Even the crew was impressed at how amazing our divers were with each other, cheering on new divers and celebrating divers of all certification levels. Truly a week of uplifting each other, and sharing some unforgettable memories! Some highlights:

Thank you to All Star Liveaboards Blackbeards crew for an unforgettable week at sea. And HUGE thank you to everyone who was part of this adventure. We can't wait for many more diving adventures to come! (we will be sharing more photos all week long, stay tuned!)

August's monthly meet up was AWESOME! This community continues to grow with new divers, and it's incredible to see the room fill with new and familiar faces each month. Thank you to everyone who came out last night to share dive stories and celebrate Jason on earning his PADI Instructor certification! 🎉

Introducing American Dive Zone's newest PADI Instructor, Jason!

Jason has been a fantastic member of our team and community for the past 2 years. As a dive master, he supported countless classes, and took the lead on our MACC student certification partnership helping with the certification of 33 MACC students. You may also recognize him from our monthly meet ups at Beer City Bread Co. or his creative Facebook posts promoting the meet ups 🙂 Another aspect of the community that he has fiercely supported.

We are so proud of you for this incredible achievement, and thankful to have you part of the ADZ Prostaff team. CONGRATULATIONS, JASON! We can't wait to see how you continue to impact so many new divers lives in your new role.
