Cynergy Dance Academy Where fun and creativity meet quality dance education and your child's safe and proper development is most important!

Our dance year runs September thru the beginning of June, the yearly recital is the 2nd weekend in June. We accept all kids between the ages of 3-18. Our yearly classes are held once weekly for either 45min (3-4 year olds), or an hour (5-18yr olds) and are paid monthly $45 a month. We offer discounts for taking more than one class. 2 classes 10% discount,3 classes= 15%... 4 classes=20%, 5 classes= 25%. Please call with any questions. 567-674-9392

The countdown is REALLY on now! 🤩 Just TWO more sleeps until we’re back in the studio and our 2026–2027 dance year officially begins! 🤸🏻‍♀️🩰⭐
But first… we know a lot of our Cynergy dancers have spent this past week trading their dance shoes for boots, barns, show rings, projects and LOTS of hard work at the Hardin County Fair! 🐷🐮🐴🐐🐑🦙🐇🐓🍀
We are SO incredibly proud of our 4-H dancers! We’ve loved seeing their pictures, awards and accomplishments this week. The dedication, confidence and work ethic they show outside the dance studio makes us just as proud as anything they accomplish inside it. 💜 Their hard work has certainly paid off!

We are SO excited to kick off another amazing year at Cynergy Dance Academy! ⭐️🩰
Yes, we’re ready to DANCE — to learn new skills, tackle new challenges, grow stronger, and shine on that stage… but some of the very best parts of dance happen in between all those steps. 🥹
It’s the giggles in class, the hugs, the encouragement, the “YOU DID IT!” moments, the friendships that grow stronger every week, and all those little memories that our dancers will carry with them long after the music stops. 💕
This year is going to be filled with dancing, learning, growing, laughing, friendships, confidence, and SO many memories.
We can’t wait to welcome our returning dancers back through those doors and meet all of the new faces joining our Cynergy family this year! 🥰

🎉🥳 HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY, MISS KINLEY! 🥳🎉

Okay… technically it was YESTERDAY 😬😂

But there was NO WAY we were letting the BIG 2️⃣1️⃣ go by without celebrating Miss Kinley Howe! 🧡💜

If you’ve ever been in one of Miss Kinley’s tumble classes, you already know she brings ALL the energy! 🤸‍♀️😂 Our students absolutely love her, and she has such a fun way of encouraging them, challenging them, celebrating their accomplishments, and making them work hard without them realizing just how hard they’re working!

And honestly… is there anything this girl CAN’T do?! 😂

She teaches tumble. 🤸‍♀️
She’s an amazing hairstylist. 💇‍♀️
She’s a lifeguard. 🛟
She teaches swim lessons. 🏊‍♀️
She not only is certified in CPR… but also teaches and certifies others! ❤️‍🩹

Meanwhile, the rest of us are just proud when we remember where we put our keys. 😂

Basically, if you need your hair done, want to learn a back handspring, need swimming lessons, or require emergency resuscitation… Miss Kinley is your girl. 🤣🙌

And now she can officially add TURNED 21 to the résumé! 🎂🎉🥳

We are so lucky to have her energy, talent, and big personality as part of our Cynergy Dance Academy family, and our dancers are even luckier to have her cheering them on every week. 🧡💜

🎉🧡💜 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MISS Ricki Coulson ! 💜🧡🎉

Today we are celebrating one of the sweetest members of our Cynergy family — Miss Ricki! 🥳💃

Miss Ricki brings so much love, patience, and joy into our studio. From leading our Liturgical program, to teaching lyrical and jazz, to loving on some of our littlest dancers in their combination classes, she has a beautiful way of making every student feel special, encouraged, and loved. 🥰

Dance has been a part of Miss Ricki's life for as long as she can remember, and it is so special watching her now share that love with the next generation of dancers. She is beautifully carrying on the dancing legacy her Aunt Penny began — while adding her own heart, gifts, and special touch to it along the way. ❤️

And YES... our students absolutely LOVE their Miss Ricki! We certainly understand why. She's kind, she's fun, she's encouraging, and she genuinely cares about every child who walks into her classroom.

A skilled dance teacher doesn’t just know what skills to teach—they understand the technique behind them and know how to teach dancers the correct foundations to build those skills safely and successfully.

The Cynergy Competition Dance Family is officially complete! 💜🧡

We are SO excited to introduce our 2026–2027 SUPER NOVA Competition Team! 🌟

For many of these dancers, this will be their very first experience with competitive dance, and we could not be more excited to watch where this journey takes them.

Our Super Novas may be our youngest competition dancers, but they are stepping into a BIG dance family this season! 💜

As we fully embrace our mission of creating not just great dancers, but a true dance family, our Super Novas will have plenty of big dance sisters on our Stellar, Solstice, and Sirius teams cheering them on, encouraging them, helping them backstage, celebrating their accomplishments, and showing them what it means to be part of a team.

Because competition dance at Cynergy is about so much more than trophies.

🌟 They will grow.
🌟 They will learn.
🌟 They will work hard.
🌟 They will learn how to be great teammates.
🌟 They will gain confidence and discover just how much they are capable of.

And most importantly…

They are going to HAVE FUN. 🥰

They'll make memories, build friendships, laugh together, cheer for one another, and hopefully develop an even deeper LOVE of dance along the way.

We want these girls to learn that competition isn't just about competing against the dancers standing beside you. It's about challenging yourself to grow a little stronger, perform a little bigger, and become a little better every time you step onto that stage.

🌟 Thursday, August 13th at 6:00 PM 🌟

Do you have a young dancer age 7-12 who LOVES to perform, wants to grow, and might be ready to try something a little more than a regular weekly dance class? 💜🧡

Our Supernova Competition Team may be the perfect place to start!

We want parents to know that competition dance at Cynergy—especially for our younger dancers—is FUN, encouraging, and age-appropriate. 💕

Our goal isn't to put unnecessary pressure on little dancers or make everything about trophies and placements. At this age, we want to:

✨ Instill a genuine LOVE of dance
👯 Help them build friendships and feel part of a team
💃 Teach strong dance technique and performance skills
🌟 Introduce them to competitive dance in a fun, positive environment
💪 Build confidence, responsibility, and teamwork
🧠 Protect their mental and emotional well-being while allowing them to develop at an appropriate pace

We believe dance competitions are much more about competing against yourself than competing against the dancer standing next to you.

Did you remember your choreography better this time?
Did you point your toes a little more?
Were you braver onstage?
Did your team work better together?
Did you improve from the last competition?

THAT is success. ❤️

Of course we love when our dancers earn awards, but a trophy will never be more important to us than raising dancers who are confident, kind, supportive of one another, and still LOVE dancing when the season is over.

🌟 AUDITIONS TONIGHT — THURSDAY, AUGUST 13TH AT 6:00 PM! 🌟

Dancers will learn a short, fun combination and then audition using what they just learned. We keep the atmosphere relaxed and encouraging—we want them to be excited, not terrified!

If your dancer has been curious about competition dance but you've worried that it might be too serious or too much pressure, come give Supernovas a try. 💜🧡

Sometimes competition isn't about creating the dancer who wins the most.

It's about helping a little dancer discover how much she loves being on that stage. 🌟
