Today we recognize Juneteenth, a pivotal day commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. College of Marin is dedicated to providing equitable opportunities, celebrating diverse backgrounds, and fostering social responsibility. Honoring Juneteenth is a direct reflection of who we are and our commitment to lifelong learning.

We invite you to celebrate and reflect with us. Swipe through to discover local Juneteenth events happening across the Bay Area. You will also find a curated list of reading recommendations available at the COM Library to help us further educate ourselves.
