The City of Kennewick is looking for a couple of cyclists who can meet at the Regional Veteran's Memorial in Columbia Park (near the Lampson Pits) on Monday 9/14 at 8 am. Oh well...the singletrack trail from the shop up to the roundabout is no more. 😢Last we saw, there are supposed to apartments/house going in from the roundabout toward the store.

If you park at the shop to access the trails, you can ride the fireroad into the valley and use the Fred and John's climbing trail

Exciting news from the Columbia Basin Chapter of Columbia Basin Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance.

"Something new is coming to Columbia Basin.

The city has commissioned Evergreen to design a community bike park at Badger Community Park: purpose-built terrain for local riders, right in the heart of the region. The initial design is underway. The city is invested. The partnership is in place.

What Evergreen does beyond the shovel...

When a municipality wants to build something great for its riding community and needs a partner who knows how to do it right, they call us. This campaign funds the cash match that secures the contract and keeps the project moving through planning and into construction.

For Columbia Basin riders, this is personal. A dedicated bike park means more people on bikes, more kids learning to ride, and a permanent community asset that belongs to this region for years to come.
