🩵 TRANSFORMATION STORY 🩵
After having our son in March of 2024, we knew we were done having kids. My second pregnancy was brutal, so I was more than ready to feel like myself again. I wanted to be the best version of myself for my kids.
I deemed 2026 the year I was going to get in tune with my body and truly understand what was happening within it. I’d show up to camp, eat my protein, drink my water, and stay consistent — yet I felt stuck. I was struggling with fatigue, migraines, and irritability, almost like I was living in the first trimester all over again. I felt swollen and slow, and honestly, I found it all so unfair.
I kept wondering, “Why isn’t anything happening? I’d stare at my old transformation story and ask myself, “Where did that girl go?”
Finally, I stopped taking “it’s all normal” for an answer. In December of 2025, I found a specialist and got my hormones checked. At the ripe age of 33 (now 34), I was diagnosed with PCOS and Hashimoto’s. I had too many vitamin deficiencies and my thyroid was completely out of whack.
Working with my provider, we implemented a plan, along with staying consistent in workouts and making a few small adjustments to my diet, things slowly started to change.
Almost 10 months later, I’ve never felt better.
Looking back, I didn’t realize how bad I really was. I thought it was all normal because feeling that bad was my normal.
Now, I feel stronger, lighter, happier, healthier and, dare I say, balanced.
Every day I show up to camp feeling grateful for what my body is capable of. Every rep is a reminder that ‘I get to’ and that I get to show up for myself. I am so grateful for Burn Boot Camp teaching me how to prioritize myself and, most importantly, truly listen to my body.
