For swimmer(s) of the month, we’d like to recognize the 10U boys that won high-point for their age group by over 80 points at the state championship meet! This was a huge accomplishment that each and every one of the following boys contributed to, whether it was scoring points in individual and/or relay events:

Their relays placed:
3rd and 11th in the 400 Free
2nd and 8th in the 200 Medley
2nd and 13th in the 200 Free

These boys did a phenomenal job living up to our “Great Athletes, Better People” slogan by not only dominating in the water, but also cheering and supporting the rest of their teammates when they weren’t racing themselves. ⚫️⚪️

It was a big week for our senior swimmers as we wrapped up our championship meets! This was the first time in our team’s history that we sent TEAMS (plural!) to both Futures and Southern Senior Zones.

⚫️ Both Adam and Javi finaled at Futures 🤠🤠
⚪️ John grabbed Sectionals bonus in the 200 fly
⚫️ 5 total records broken on the girls side by Kirby and Abby
⚪️ 3 total records broken on the boys side by Javi and Alejandro

Time for a much-needed break before we head into the short course season!

It’s been a whirlwind of champs meets for our team the past two weeks, and Hydra did Hydra things: had fun and swam fast!

Congrats Asher! He shows up everyday and is one of the most respectful and well-mannered kids. He always pushes himself to go on A interval even if he doesn’t like the set, and is always helping the kids in his lane with intervals and the set. He’s a great teammate!
