Recital time is never just about dance.
It is about watching dancers find confidence they didn’t know they had. It was about friendships formed in the studio, lessons learned through hard work, and moments that reminded them they are capable of more than they think.
This year was especially meaningful for me. As a mom, a business owner, and a teacher, life often moves so fast that I forget to pause and take it all in. Our photographer Olga.Tully.Photography captured these photos & reminded me why I started Faith Dance Studio all those years ago.
I see courage.
I see growth.
I see joy.
I see dancers becoming young women.
To our dancers, thank you for trusting us with your dreams. To our parents, thank you for trusting us with your children. And to my Faith Dance Studio family, thank you for helping create a place where every child feels seen, loved, encouraged, and celebrated.
The recital may last just a few hours, but the memories we make will last a lifetime.
On to next season ❤️

Mother’s Day Brunch reminded me that dance studios are built on so much more than choreography. They are built on mothers, the ones juggling work, rehearsals, costume bags, late-night laundry, fundraising, pep talks, and somehow still showing up with love and strength every single day.
Behind every confident dancer is usually a mom who sacrificed quietly behind the scenes.
As a mom myself, this season feels emotional. One minute we’re tying dance shoes… and the next we’re helping our daughters prepare for adulthood. It all goes by so fast.
But tgis brunch was also a reminder to every woman in the room:
Before you were “mom,” you were YOU.
A young girl with dreams, passions, confidence, and purpose.
Please don’t lose her.
Take care of yourself too. Laugh louder. Rest when needed. Dance in the kitchen. Take the pictures. Buy the dress. Celebrate who you are outside of motherhood.
And to our girls , one day you’ll realize your mom was never “just mom.” She was a woman doing her best while carrying the world on her shoulders.
Thank you to every dance mom for every sacrifice, every ride, every rhinestone, every prayer, and every moment you pour into your children.
You are the heartbeat of this studio. 🤍
Happy Mother’s Day

With all the chaos, the noise, and the heaviness… it’s easy to feel off beat.
Like you missed a step.
Like your faith isn’t as strong as it should be.
But faith was never about perfection.
Even Jesus Christ, on the cross, cried out in a moment that sounded like doubt.
And still… that wasn’t the end of the story.
As a dancer, I’ve learned not every part of the choreography feels good.
Some seasons you’re not leaping… you’re just trying to get through it.
And that’s okay.
Friday felt like silence.
Like loss.
Like everything was over.
But Sunday was resurrection.
So if your faith feels shaky right now… stay in the dance.
Even if you’re just marking it.
Even if it’s one step at a time.
Because resurrection is still part of your story 🤍

International Women’s Day is a moment to pause and recognize the strength, dedication, and passion of women everywhere. Today, I especially want to recognize the incredible women who are part of our dance community.
To my dancers and dance teachers, you represent so much more than movement on a stage.
You represent discipline.
You represent resilience.
You represent confidence and courage.
Dance teaches us lessons that go far beyond choreography. It teaches commitment, teamwork, perseverance, and the power of believing in ourselves even when something feels difficult. Those lessons shape the kind of women you become, both on and off the dance floor.
Many of you started dancing as little girls, learning your first steps, building friendships, and discovering your voice. Over time, I have watched you grow into strong young women who carry those lessons into every part of your lives.
Some of you are now leaders in your own right. Some are pursuing careers, continuing your education, building families, or mentoring the next generation of dancers. Watching those journeys unfold is one of the most rewarding parts of being part of this community.
To the dance teachers, thank you for the dedication you bring every day. Teaching dance is not just about technique. It is about shaping confidence, encouraging growth, and helping young women discover their strength. The influence you have goes far beyond the studio.
And to every dancer, whether you are just beginning or have been dancing for years, remember that the strength you build through dance stays with you for life.
Dance creates confident women.
Dance builds leaders.
Dance builds community.
Today we celebrate all of you and the powerful women you are becoming.
Happy International Women’s Day. 💜✨
