You can help shape the future of bike and pedestrian infrastructure investment in Texas.

As part of the Statewide Active Transportation Plan effort, TxDOT wants to hear your priorities for the future.

Participants can:
- Complete a short survey
- Share transportation priorities
- Pin comments directly on an interactive map

Your feedback will help identify transportation needs and opportunities across the state.

Visit the engagement portal between now and July 3 here: https://ow.ly/IUyT50ZeeEF

Here is what a Class 1 E-bike looks like. You canโ€™t even tell it is an ebike, unless you are riding it and feeling the wind in your hair and effortless motion! $1699 for a bikepath legal, very light, very manoeuvrable e-bike with pedal assist.

โš ๏ธ Important Safety Consideration for those who ride in George Bush Park!
If you need an EMS (ambulance) on the trail, please understand that unfortunately right now they can not locate you by locating your phone, by a google pin drop, or any other way except the traditional street/number style address. These are the streets you need to remember:
๐Ÿ“S Wheaton Drive (it's the small road closest to Fun Fair Positive Soccer) - parking lot closest to the trail on the west side at Westheimer Pkwy.
๐Ÿ“Barker Cypress Road at Barker Clodine Trail - parking lot east of the soccer field entrance, where the South - North trail begins.
๐Ÿ“ 20000 Alana Springs Drive, or 2010 S Fry Rd (Walgreens)- this is the entrance to the trail near Fry Rd and Highland Knolls.
๐Ÿ“ 19910 Stonelodge Street - Pattison Elementary near Mason Bike and Hike trail - entrance to GBP.
๐Ÿ“ 219 Barker Clodine Rd - Parking Lot at the entrance to the levee / George Bush Park by 1-10 and Constable station.

Check out your routes and see if you can locate entrance points for the ambulance on the streets nearby. Years ago there was a fatality on a trail, and by the time the ambulance found the rider, he passed in the arms of our customer. Hopefully, in the future there will be emergency buttons along the trails, but for now it is on us to learn how to guide an EMS vehicle to the place where help is needed.
