Our Blaze girls had an amazing First day back at school!

We are so proud of each of these girls and all the hard work they put in both on and off the field. We hope they have the best school year filled with learning, growth, memories and lots of success!

Wishing Avery, Bailee, Chloe, Emerson, Emilia, Karleigh, Livy & Tinsley the best of luck as they represent their junior high schools this weekend at the Middle School Matchup Softball - Houston tournament!

What a cool experience to compete alongside girls from different schools who may one day be your teammates at the high school level. Go out there, compete hard, have fun, and enjoy every minute of it! We’ll be cheering you all on! 🥎🔥

We are SO excited to kick off our MSM Houston Summer Tournament this evening!

This weekend, we have:

#99 — Bailee Cholewin (SS / OF / RHP) — new player!

Welcome to Blaze, Bailee! ❤️🥎💙

#99 joins us this fall as a right-handed pitcher who can also lock down shortstop and the outfield. That's a big addition to the roster and a lot of different ways to help this team win ballgames.

Shortstop and pitcher are two of the most demanding spots on the field, so handling both says plenty about her. We're looking forward to watching her settle in with this group and find her spot.

We can't wait to see her in red, white, and blue. Let's get after it! 🥎🔥

#42 — Emilia Mayfield (RHP / 1B / OF)

Welcome back, Emilia! ❤️🥎💙

#42 returns as a right-handed pitcher who also handles first base and the outfield. She can do a little bit of everything, and she does all of it with the same effort level every time out. That kind of player quietly raises the standard for everybody around her.

Whether she's in the circle, at first base, or in the outfield, Emilia gives this team valuable versatility and consistency. Having a player who can contribute in so many ways is a huge asset, and we're excited to see her continue making an impact this season.

#25 — Liv Fuda (2B / OF)

Welcome back, Liv! ❤️🥎💙

#25 is back at second base and in the outfield for another season with the Blaze. Steady hands, a steady bat, and always where she needs to be. She makes the routine plays look routine, and around here that's a real compliment. Second base takes good footwork and quick decisions on the turn, and she handles both without much fuss.

She's the kind of player you stop worrying about because she just keeps doing her job.

So glad to have her back in red, white, and blue! 🥎🔥

#21 — Chloe Baker (3B / OF / Catcher)

Welcome back, Chloe! ❤️🥎💙

#21 returns to suit up behind the plate, work the hot corner, and take her turn in the outfield. She's tough, she's steady, and she doesn't rattle when the game speeds up on everybody else. That's exactly what you want from a catcher, and it's why the staff trusts her back there.

Squatting behind the plate all weekend takes a kind of grit that doesn't get talked about enough. She brings that same steadiness with her wherever she lines up.

#12 — Emerson Whitehead (RHP / 3B / OF)

Welcome back, Emerson! ❤️🥎💙

#12 is back in the circle as a right-handed pitcher, with the hot corner and the outfield covered too. She's a competitor through and through, and she brings that edge to every single inning she's out there. Having her back gives us real depth on the mound, which matters more than anything else over a long tournament weekend. At third base she's got the quick reactions the position demands.

She's the kind of teammate who makes everybody around her a little tougher.

#11 — Karleigh Zepeda (2B / OF / Catcher)

#11 returns ready to line up wherever we need her — second base, behind the plate, or out in the grass. Her versatility gives this team options, and she embraces every role with confidence and a team-first attitude.

She is ready to compete every inning, and brings the same energy no matter where she’s playing. That willingness to do whatever the team needs makes her an important part of this roster and a player her teammates can always count on.
