What an unforgettable way to wrap up an incredible week of horse-filled fun! Our campers kicked off the day with one final riding lesson before becoming junior equine health experts. They learned how to check a horse's heartbeat, listen to its lungs and digestive system, examine its teeth, and discover how a horse's teeth change as they age. They also learned how to measure a horse's height in handsβ€”and had a blast measuring themselves to see how many hands tall they are!

To finish the morning, campers put all the knowledge they gained this week to the test with a barn-wide scavenger hunt packed with fun clues. After lunch, they got creative making charm bracelets, cooled off with delicious snow cones, and ended the week in the best way possibleβ€”with an epic foam party full of laughter, smiles, and unforgettable memories!

What an amazing Week 3! Thank you to all of our campers for making it so much fun. πŸŽπŸ’™πŸŽ‰

The week may be winding down, but our campers are still going strong! 🐴

The day kicked off with a special snack as campers got to feed the homemade horse treats they prepared yesterday. Then it was time to put their riding skills to the test with a no-stirrups lesson, helping build balance, confidence, and a stronger seat in the saddle. Campers also learned how to measure and design a jumping course before getting hands-on with tack care by taking apart, properly cleaning, and reassembling bridles.

After lunch, creativity took center stage with a fun horse head craft before campers put their balance and coordination to the test in a saddled barrel challenge! To top off another fun day, everyone cooled down with a refreshing visit from the lemonade truck. πŸ‹βœ¨

Such a fun day at camp! Our campers kicked things off with a hands-on lunging demonstration, learning the purpose of lunging and how it helps keep horses healthy, trained, and engaged. Next, they put on their aprons and got to work creating delicious homemade horse treats for their equine friends. The morning concluded with a unique horse lick canvas painting project, giving campers the chance to create colorful masterpieces that doubled as a special treat for the horses. 🐴🎨

After lunch, it was time to saddle up and head out on the trails for a relaxing ride around the property! Campers also learned valuable equine first aid skills by practicing leg wrapping techniques and explored horse anatomy by labeling a pony and discovering how each part of the horse works together.

To top off an action-packed day, campers enjoyed a popcorn bar where they mixed and matched flavors to create their own tasty and unique snack combinations. It was a day full of learning, creativity, horsemanship, and fun from start to finish! 🐴✨🍿

So. Much. Fun! πŸŽ‰πŸ΄

Our second group of campers wrapped up the week with an action-packed day full of horse adventures! The morning started in the saddle as campers sharpened their riding skills both in the arena and out on the trail. They also got a front-row seat to a farrier visit, learning firsthand how important hoof care is for our equine partners.

Next, campers put their newfound knowledge to the test with a barn-wide scavenger hunt that sent them exploring every corner of the property! Afterward, they cooled off with snow cones, got creative with a craft inspired by their favorite horses, and then topped it all off with an epic foam party that washed away the barn dust and brought endless laughs and smiles.

It was the perfect way to end an incredible week of camp! We are so grateful for all the amazing kiddos who chose to spend part of their summer with us and can't wait to see them again! β€οΈβ˜€οΈπŸŽ

We didn’t let a little rain dampen our spirits today! β˜”οΈ

Our campers jumped right into the fun by feeding the homemade horse treats they made yesterday! Next, they headed to the indoor arena to build confidence and sharpen their riding skills. They even built their own course and got a hands-on lesson in taking apart, cleaning, and reassembling tack like true equestrians!

After lunch, campers showed off their creative side by making beautiful charm bracelets before jumping back on the horses for a fun mounted egg-and-spoon challenge, where balance and coordination were on full display.

And just when we thought the day couldn’t get any better, the Hey Sister lemonade truck rolled in for a refreshing and delicious end to a fun day of learning, riding and creativity! πŸ‹βœ¨πŸ€ πŸŽπŸ’›
