🍂 Fall Is Approaching! 🍁
As the weather cools down and the leaves begin to change, it’s a great time to make wellness a priority—especially when caring for our loved ones. ❤️
Here are a few simple ways to stay safe, comfortable, and healthy this fall:
🧥 Stay warm & comfortable — Dress in layers and keep blankets nearby as temperatures change.
💧 Stay hydrated — Cooler weather doesn’t mean your body needs less water!
🍎 Keep eating well — Enjoy seasonal fruits and vegetables and maintain balanced, nourishing meals.
🚶🏽‍♀️ Stay active safely — Gentle stretching, walking, chair exercises, or other activities can help keep the body moving.
🍂 Watch for fall hazards — Wet leaves, uneven sidewalks, and poor lighting can increase the risk of falls. Keep walkways clear and well-lit.
💊 Stay on top of medications & appointments — Fall is a good time to review medications and keep up with routine healthcare visits.
🧡 Stay connected — Check in with loved ones, caregivers, and friends. A little connection can go a long way.
🍁 Enjoy the season! Take time to enjoy the cooler weather, beautiful scenery, and simple moments that make fall special.
Here’s to a safe, healthy, and cozy fall season! 🍂❤️

Soul Child Awakening Spotlight✨

At a recent Soul Child Awakenings session, we explored West African spiritual traditions and the powerful role of drums and rhythm.

Participants learned a basic West African rhythm, explored percussion instruments, and experienced how rhythm can encourage connection, memory, coordination, and community.🪘

Fun Fact:The djembe is commonly associated with a phrase meaning “everyone gather together in peace.”
