🔥 BACK TO THE MATS SESSION 2️⃣

Thank you to all the wrestlers who attended Level 1 back to the mats. We are excited to announce session 2 in October.

Our session 2 curriculum will cover the foundations of the sport. Over the 3 weeks your athletes will learn new balance skills, athleticism, and core positioning to build a great foundation.

All practices are co-ed and focus on athletes with 0-2 years of experience.

🤼‍♀️ Girl athletes- This is your chance to checkout one of the largest girls programs in the Midwest. Girls wrestling has exploded nationally offering a great foundation for building athltiesm throughout any sport.

🤼 Boys- Experience a long tradition of developing excellence. We meet your athlete where they are and progress them through the stages in their development process.

We honor those who lost their lives on 9/11 and the heroes who stepped into action when the unthinkable became reality. Our world was forever changed. We remember with reverence, reflect with gratitude, and honor the resilience of those who carried on.

At Greater Heights Wrestling, we wear red, white, and blue with pride—and with respect for the courage and sacrifice we remember on this day.

As coaches and parents, we want to raise young people who can do hard things, pick themselves up, and serve others. Wrestling helps us teach those lessons: persevere through adversity, stand beside your teammates, and have the courage to help when someone needs you.

May we help our children become the heroes of their own stories—and people others can count on.

A great time to spotlight Coach Joe! He’s been coaching with the club for over 30 years and is a huge part of what we built across both the boy’s and girl’s sides of the program.

Selfless, impactful and encouraging describe Coach Joe. He’s also got a passion for the sport and a unique gift to connect with athletes. Additionally, Coach Joe has engineered a system that has produced numerous individual state champions and and is ingrained in the 23 consecutive state team titles (boys) and the 4 consecutive state team titles (girls).

Thank you for leading, inspiring and cementing a legacy within youth sports and most importantly- Greater Heights Wrestling!

He embraces the climb daily as a police officer and public servant to the community. We love and appreciate Coach Joe!

This Sunday, we’ll celebrate another outstanding season at our Greater Heights Youth Banquet!

This year, Greater Heights captured Missouri USA Wrestling Team State Championships in both the boys’ and girls’ divisions, along with a top-three overall team finish in Kansas.

Club athletes’ meals are covered by Greater Heights. Families, please send your prepayment for all other guest meals:

Children ages 3–12: $10
Adults and ages 13+: $18

Please remember to bring your own drinks and if you feel inclined to bring a dessert then we’ll create a dessert potluck for the club to share.

Greater Heights Level 1 Back To The Mats

Join us for a 3 week session to grow your wrestling skills before season, or try the sport for the first time.
