Calling all animal lovers, pet enthusiasts and animal welfare advocates! Join us tomorrow for Fauna, our 3rd Speaker Series event. We have an outstanding roster of speakers joining us from several local nonprofits and businesses. We'll listen and learn from the community. Plus, we'll enjoy a variety of 'Fauna Foods' (aka, homemade potluck food and snack items, prepared graciously by our members and staff). The event is free and runs from 11:30am-1:30pm. Join us. It will be truly PAW-SOME!!!

Small acts of kindness happen everyday. For example, last week a local gentleman noticed a member of our staff waiting at the bus stop in the hot sun. He gifted Akila a brand new umbrella to help protect against direct sunlight and heat. Each day is an opportunity to do something kind for another person.

Donate a can or box of dry food today! These are the items of need:
- Canned tuna
- Jelly or jam (small jars)
- Mac & cheese
- Pancake mix
- Pancake syrup
- Pasta (any variety)
- Pasta sauce (red or white)
- Potatoes (dry, boxed, or canned)
- Peanut butter
- Ramen noodles
- Rice (small boxes or bags)
