We received about 1.10 inches of rain last night. The courses are open, cart path only.

The Range will be closed today until about noon due to wet conditions and we will move our usual Wednesday morning maintenance to tomorrow morning.

Where are you from? I moved a lot when I was young. I even went to 5 high schools. My last high school was in Shawnee at Bishop Miege, so we'll say I am from this area.

Where do you live now? I currently live in my dream retirement home in Leawood.

How long have you been playing golf? I played golf in high school but not on the team. There was no such thing as girls' sports then. My golf career was put on hold while I had babies. However, my babies play golf with me now, and it is a blast enjoying the sport with them.

What do you love most about golf? What I love best about golf is that it is a sport that can be enjoyed by all levels of expertise. So enjoyable to play with friends and family.

What do you like about HOA: I love the PEOPLE at HOA. The employees and public are so friendly!

Favorite golfer: Annika Sorenstam is my favorite golfer. She still has GAME!

Favorite food: Carnivore beef

Favorite drink: A good red wine

Other hobbies: Traveling the world and discovering what is out there. There is so much to see and experience.

This last Friday was the last day of our July junior camp (we had a rainout one week, so got pushed back a week into August)!

The junior golfers got to play a couple of golf holes to end their camp, and we think they liked this the best out of all the weeks!
