Another one out the door!!
This beautiful suburban came in for a checkup. The owner had it at another shop who handed him several thousand dollars in “needed” repairs. After going over it from end to end with a fine tooth comb , we identified a few areas of concern, but nowhere near what the other place “found”.

The Thunderbird has taken flight and is ready for cruise nights!!
This Thunderbird came in with complaints of bad brakes. It had a disc conversion kit installed on it quite some time ago and apparently the vehicle had never been right since then. It had a dangerously low pedal almost to the floor and barely stopped the car. After some tinkering with the existing system, we told the owner that it would be best to just start from fresh with a brand new disc brake kit.
Once the disc brake kit came, we got it installed, we had to make a couple small modifications to make everything fit properly, rerouted a few brake lines, and then took it for a test drive. I was very satisfied with the stopping performance of the new kit.
Now the owner can enjoy driving this classic t- bird once more with confidence!

Another one out the door and ready for cruise night.
This 1975 C 10 Pickup came to us as the new owners inherited project. They asked us to look it over and identify any problems that could affect being a nice daily driver. We identified a few areas of concern and got approval for the work.
We started out by replacing some of the rubber brake lines, replacing the U joints in the driveshaft, and full fluid replacement from top to bottom. We also made a few other non-critical repairs.

Another one out the door and ready for cruise night!!!
It’s always a great feeling when a car that came in on a tow truck and drive out under its own power…
This beautiful 1954 Chrysler New Yorker came in on a no start, with multiple frayed wiring under the hood, a very corroded ground cable and in need of some TLC.
We tidied up the wiring, installed a new battery , added an overflow tank for the Radiator along with a fresh flush and fill, a new thermostat , and finally gave it a road test to check out all of the repairs!

My favorite 73 Malibu was back in today…
Owner said he had smoke under the hood and a smell in the cabin, coupled with an overheating issue.
When I checked the radiator, it was completely empty. When I filled it up, we had water coming from the firewall area. I discovered an improper sized broken hose. Since what was coming out was rusty as could be, i went ahead and flushed the system top to bottom, installed new hoses and clamps of the proper size. (GM used 3/4” and 5/8” hoses on these), and refilled the system with fresh coolant.
After a quick test drive to verify that was the solution to the smoke that he was seeing, it’s now ready to get back out the door for weekend cruising .
As always, appointments are available and don’t forget we do work on your daily drivers as well!

The Falcon is taking flight!
As is the story, we’ve shared many times before, this vehicle came to us after an extended slumber.
Customer said that it was leaking lots of transmission fluid when it was parked. Upon inspection, we determined that the torque converter had a crack, and since this isn’t a commonly stocked torque converter in any of the vendors ,we dropped the Transmission to send the torque converter out to be rebuilt by a trusted supplier.
Once we got the transmission reinstalled, we put a brand new set of white wall tires on, and a new brake light switch to make sure that this falcon could be seen and have traction when flying low and slowing down!

We love impalas at KC Classics!!
This impala came in needing a steering coupler installed , the owner supplied an incorrect part , so we sourced the proper part and got it installed. He also brought us a new gas pedal pad , which we gladly installed as well. Now its back to the owner in time for weekend cruising.

Another one gone home !!!
This 75 Chrysler came in from a very long slumber as an inherited vehicle in non running shape. These are oddball cars so sourcing parts was a real challenge!!
We located a new fuel tank to replace the rusted through original, went through all the fluids , installed a hot battery and gave this Mopar a complete tune up to get this one back on the road so the owner could relive old times with his grandfathers car!

Another one wrapped up and ready for cruise night!!
This beautiful Aerocoupe came in with complaints of a newly installed carb stalling out at red lights. We found a misadjusted choke , and the timing was a bit off with the new distributor that had been installed before it got to us.
Once we got the carb dialed in, we replaced some noisy belts and got this one turned right back out the door for some weekend cruising !!
