Takes a Village to put on a show! You won’t be sorry if you volunteer!

“ We’re thankful we got some gentle nudging to volunteer for the recent KCDS show. We know it takes a small village to run a show, but we considered ourselves novice and too under qualified to be of any assistance. Through the good graces of the Kansas City horse community, we got some enthusiastic on-the-job training and had a great time! We were given lots of encouragement from other volunteers, reassurance that there was always someone close by if we had any questions, and heard “thank you for volunteering” several times from show participants. Whew! What a busy May it has been! 🎉
Now that we've wrapped up an exciting month, don't forget to mark your calendars for our June KCDS Show on June 20th & 21st! We can't wait to see everyone back for another great weekend of showing, community, and fun. Closing date for sign ups are June 12th.
We're also still looking for volunteers to help make the show a success. If you can lend a hand, we'd greatly appreciate it!
