7 Dawgs go yard at 12U firelake World Series

We challenged these boys this weekend and played up into 12U being a true USSSA 11U team with NO grade exceptions, playing against OK Kids aged players that several are 13.5 years old, and also several 12U AAA/Majors pick up teams. The boys held their own & some. They battled hard, faced adversity & came together as a team the last day to make their way into the top 5 teams in the gold bracket before losing a nail biter on a walk off that ultimately sent them home. They are winners in my book. Great job, fellas!

Continuing on with our Fall intro’s‼️

It’s only fitting for Adam’s intro to come closest to 4th of July, because when he pops off at the plate he can hit 💣’s 300+ ft and is a flame thrower on the mound nearing 70mph with his fastball. A pitchers nightmare when he steps to the plate, the next swing may go on a sports center highlight reel. Our Ace on the mound, and we trot him out against the best opponents we face each weekend. Glad to have you back, #14 Adam Stefansen!

Continuing on with our Fall intro’s‼️

The other 5 tool kid on our team, #10 Kipton Selman. He’s a stud catcher, and great outfielder. Just a true utility player that is a freak athlete, and a true gamer. The kid we want at the plate with the game on the line. Kip was 2nd on the team in batting average, 2nd on the team in OBP, 1st on the team in runs scored, 2nd on the team in stolen bases. He’s going to be a much bigger part of our pitching rotation moving forward, and finished the season with a 4.345 ERA this spring. Glad to have Kip back with the Dawgs in the fall.

Fall team intro’s for the older boys‼️

Starting out with our 5 tool, do it all, shortstop, #87 Luis Romo! Luis led the team this spring in batting average, on base %, OPS, slugging %, hits, RBI’s, and stolen bases. He was 2nd on the team in home runs, and runs scored. He’s an offensive juggernaut, a highlight reel at SS, and held it down on the mound with a 3.418 ERA. We are happy to have Luis back for the fall season!
