🦈 SHARKS + GROUPER ON THE SAME TRIP?! 🐟🔥

A lot of guests don’t realize that during grouper aggregation season, we can run grouper-focused diving right alongside our regular shark dives.

And right now, we are seeing grouper on BOTH major drops.

🤿 DROP 1 — THE LEDGE
While we’re running the shark dive, we’re also seeing grouper moving along the ledge. If grouper are high on your list, just talk to the crew and let us know what you want to see.

🤿 DROP 2 — JUPITER WRECK TREK
This is where the aggregation has been absolutely incredible.

We are seeing COUNTLESS GROUPER stacked around the wrecks, with some massive fish and incredible concentrations throughout the site.

So here it is!

If you’ve been diving with Emerald Charters or Valor Charters, you’ve probably heard some of the music playing on the ride out, between dives, or coming back through the inlet and asked:

I’ve been creating original music inspired by the world we live in every day — diving, sharks, hunting, conservation, the ocean, our crews, our divers, and some of the completely ridiculous things that happen when you spend enough time around scuba divers. 😂🤿

Those “little fish” in the video? They’re 200–500+ POUND GOLIATH GROUPER. 🤯🐟

There are so many gathered around the Zion at the Jupiter Wreck Trek that they look like a small school of fish! The camera just doesn’t do their size justice. These are massive fish, and seeing countless giants gathered around one wreck is absolutely unreal. 🔥🤿

This is why we love diving Jupiter. Drop down, take in the wreck, and find yourself sharing the water with an incredible grouper aggregation. What a sight!

Yesterday was incredible, and today kept it rolling! Amazing shark encounters, turtles, rays, and a boat full of people who made these last two days something special. The underwater photos tell one part of the story. Those smiles back on the boat tell the rest! 🤙🌊

A huge thank-you to everyone who came out with us, and to our crew for putting in the work that makes these days happen. This is why we love what we do!
