Today we get to celebrate something that means so much more to us than kicks, forms, sparring, belts, and trophies. Taekwondo has given us friendships, memories, confidence, discipline, perseverance, and a second family.

To all of our amazing ATA Jonesboro students and families — thank you for trusting us, supporting us, and being part of this journey. Whether you’re just starting as a Tiger or you’ve been training for years, every single one of you is part of what makes our school so special.

One of the coolest parts about Taekwondo is seeing where the journey can take you. From being a little kid stepping onto the mat for the first time… to becoming instructors, leaders, competitors, parents, and role models for the next generation. 🥹🥋

And YES… that really is Mr. Baez as a little Tiger back in the day! 😂🔥 Taekwondo has truly been a lifelong journey!

This is one of those moments that reminds us WHY we love what we do. ❤️🥋

Martial arts has never just been about kicks, punches, trophies, or winning competitions. Of course we want our students to be competitive, work hard, and chase big goals — but more than anything, we want to help build confident kids with strong character who know how to handle wins, losses, pressure, hard days, and everything life throws at them.

And Reid is such a great example of that.

Seeing his journey, his growth, his confidence, and all the work he has put in makes us incredibly proud. He has now earned a State Title and District Titles 🏆🔥 and those accomplishments are AWESOME… but what makes us even more proud is the young man he is becoming through the process.

The discipline. The confidence. The toughness. Learning how to compete. Learning how to lose and come back stronger. Learning that nothing is just given to you — you have to WORK for it.

Those are the things that will stay with him long after the trophies are sitting on a shelf.

And a HUGE shoutout to Ms. Karolina. ❤️ She has spent so much extra time doing lessons with Reid, training him, pushing him, believing in him, and helping him become a better competitor. A lot of people see the medals and the championships, but they don’t always see all those extra lessons and hours of work behind the scenes. We appreciate everything she has poured into him!

And to Reid’s parents — THANK YOU for trusting us with your son and allowing us to be part of his journey. That trust means more to us than you probably realize.

Reid, we are SO proud of you. Not just because you’re a champion in competition, but because you’re learning how to become a champion in LIFE. ❤️🥋

Back to School! 📚✏️

As many of our students head back to school this week and next week. We want to wish all of our amazing Kaizen students a GREAT first day!

Go show your teachers and classmates your DISCIPLINE, RESPECT, CURIOSITY, and HONESTY. Be the leaders we know you are!

When school gets tough remember our biggest philosophy KAIZEN: It means always striving to be better than you were yesterday. If a grade isn't what you hoped for, don't give up. Keep pushing, keep improving, give it a little more heart than you did before. That's what makes you a Kaizen student.

Special shout out to our two college freshmen, Ms. Karolina and Mr. David, as you start a new journey and a new chapter in your life. We are so proud of you and so excited we get to be a part of it. Good luck!

But seriously… these kids were AMAZING leaders during camp! 🙌❤️

They were helping, playing with everyone, jumping in during our water days, and most importantly, making sure EVERYONE felt included! 💦🥋

That’s what we love so much about our teens! There is NEVER a “too cool” group to hang out with. They’re always willing to get involved, have fun with the younger kids, and be the kind of leaders we can count on! 👏

So… they definitely deserved a little reward! 💰🎉
