Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated Woodworking CNC Operator to join our shop. In this role, you will be responsible for using Fusion 360 to program and operate our CNC machinery, transforming raw wood into precise canoe decks, thwarts, carry yokes, and other custom components. This is an excellent opportunity for a true craftsman who wants independence in their work while contributing to exciting, innovative projects.

Key Responsibilities:
* Set up, program, and safely operate CNC machinery using Fusion 360.
* Manufacture high-quality wooden canoe and kayak components, including decks, thwarts, carry yokes, oars and paddles.
* Monitor machine operations to ensure precision, quality, and optimal material usage.
* Maintain, troubleshoot, and perform basic upkeep on CNC equipment.
* Work independently in a traditional woodshop environment, handling raw materials and secondary woodworking equipment as needed.
* Collaborate with the team on new product development and upcoming projects currently in our pipeline.
Required Qualifications:
* Proven experience operating CNC machinery in a woodworking or manufacturing setting is an absolute must.
* Hands-on proficiency and comfort using Fusion 360 for CNC programming and operations.
* Strong woodworking skills and complete comfort working in a professional woodshop environment.
* Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter who can manage their time efficiently without constant supervision.
* Sharp attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
Bonus Points:
* Experience operating and maintaining a Bambu 3D printer (or similar 3D printing technology) for prototyping or component fabrication.
