What a Sunday for Ocean State Makos 16U Blue. The boys went 2-0 on Championship Sunday, taking down Antonelli 16U Black 11-0 before finishing the job with a 4-1 win over GBG Northeast in the CHAMPIONSHIP! 🦈🏆

🔥 CHAMPIONSHIP GAME — J. SPENCE SET THE TONE

Spence took the ball with a championship on the line and delivered a complete-game gem:

Two games. Two different ways to win.

The Ocean State Makos 16U White put together a big Saturday, going 2-0 and outscoring opponents 18-3 on the day! 🔥

GAME 1 | Makos 14, Bandits 0

The Makos came out firing, piling up 14 runs on 11 hits while running wild for 15 stolen bases.

🔥 Brady Fanning had himself a DAY — going 3-for-3 with a triple, RBI and 2 runs scored, then dominating on the mound with a complete-game one-hit shutout: 5 IP, 0 R, 5 K.

Game two was a battle.

The Makos trailed 2-1 and 3-2, but continued to grind, tied it at 3 in the fourth and pushed across the go-ahead run in the sixth to earn the 4-3 win.

🔥 William Clarke drove in 2 runs and then took over on the mound, throwing 2 hitless, scoreless innings with 3 K to earn the win.

The Ocean State Makos 17U went 2-0 Saturday, taking down Farmhouse Force 6-1 before battling back for a 9-6 win over Ocean State Outlaws Barber.

As a staff, the Makos allowed just 4 hits over 14 innings while striking out 25. Young, St. Sauveur and Cronin combined for 6.1 hitless, scoreless innings with 12 K out of the bullpen.

After a dominant 16-strikeout performance in Game 1, the Makos showed some fight in Game 2. Down 6-4 entering the 6th, they put up five runs to take a 9-6 lead and never looked back.

The two wins secured the #2 seed and a spot on Championship Sunday. 🏆

Ocean State Makos 16U White picked up a 4-3 win over Cape Riptide 16U on Friday!

After falling behind 2-0 early, the Makos battled back and took the lead with a big fourth inning before closing it out for the win.

The Makos exploded for 11 hits while the pitching staff combined for a 4-inning NO-HITTER.

Makos 15U at Bryant University Team Camp

Another great day of learning and competing for our 15U Makos at the Bryant University Team Camp.

Experiences like these go beyond the scoreboard. They give our players the opportunity to compete against quality competition, learn from college coaches, and experience what it takes to play at the next level.

We’re proud of the way this group continues to represent the Makos with effort, energy, and a willingness to improve every day.

The Makos Baseball tryout scheduled for today August 6th has been postponed.

We are currently working on a new date and will share those details as soon as they’re finalized.

🏆 CHAMPIONS! 🏆

The Ocean State Makos 15U brought home the hardware after earning two hard-fought wins on Championship Sunday and capturing the 2026 Firecracker Sports 15U Championship!

The Makos opened the day with a 4-3 win over Baseball NB 15U. Trailing 3-0 early, they battled all the way back and took the lead with two runs in the top of the sixth inning.

Ben Ride delivered a complete-game performance on the mound, allowing five hits and only two earned runs across seven innings.

🔥 Semifinal standouts

* Jacob Barry: 2-for-3, RBI, run and walk
* Shamus McConnell: Hit and RBI
* Cooper Lantz: Hit and RBI
* Pedro Cardoso: Hit and stolen base
* Zach Riker: Hit and run scored

The Makos then defeated 518 Velo 15U, 8-3, in eight innings to win the championship.

With the game tied entering the eighth, the Makos exploded for six runs on six hits to take control. Cooper Lantz delivered one of the biggest hits of the inning with a two-run single.
