IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT | 50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

Dear Kennedy Dancers Family,

We would like to let our students, families, alumni, friends, and supporters know that our 50th Anniversary Celebration has been postponed.

Due to an unexpected internal personal crisis, our priority at this time is to support those affected and allow our Kennedy Dancers family the time and space needed to navigate this difficult situation.

We also want to make sure that when we celebrate this very special milestone, we are able to do it properly and give our 50 years of dance, community, and dedication the celebration it deserves.

A new date and location/setting will be discussed and announced at a later time. We ask for your patience and understanding while we take the necessary time to regroup and determine the best way forward.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Kennedy Dancers throughout our 50-year journey. Your understanding and continued support mean so much to us.

Can you believe it? We’re turning 50! 🎉

On October 6, 1976, the Kennedy Dancers opened its doors in Jersey City and began a journey that has brought dance, creativity, and community to thousands of people.

Now, 50 years later, we’re ready to celebrate with YOU!
Whether you danced with us as a child, performed on our stage, took a class, taught a class, cheered us on from the audience, or simply have been part of our Kennedy Dancers family along the way, this celebration is for you.

We’re planning an evening filled with great food, ch*****ne, music, dancing, laughter, memories, and performances celebrating five decades of Kennedy Dancers.
And we want the stage to belong to our Kennedy Dancers family!
Have a new piece of choreography you’ve been dying to perform?
Have a special talent you want to show off?
Write poetry, sing, play an instrument, dance, or have something creative you’d love to share?

Your ticket helps us raise funds to continue our work next year. For 50 years, The Kennedy Dancers has provided free and low-cost dance classes and programs to thousands of children, teens, adults, and seniors throughout our community. We want to keep that tradition moving for the next 50 years!

The Kennedy Dancers, Inc. is looking for a passionate Music Teacher to join our team for our September through June dance semester!

We're looking for someone who can:
✨ Teach basic vocal technique, including Broadway-style singing
✨ Teach basic piano to children and beginners
✨ Lead both private lessons and small group classes
✨ Create a fun, encouraging, and engaging learning environment

🎼 Bonus: If you can teach additional instruments, we'd love to hear about it!

If you enjoy inspiring young musicians and helping students build confidence through music, we'd love to have you on our team!

🐾 WE'RE HIRING! IMMEDIATE OPENING! 🐾

Do you love cats and have experience caring for them? We're looking for a mature, responsible, and reliable cat sitter to help care for our friendly studio cats and the community cats that live in the lot near our dance studio.

📍 Applicants must live in Jersey City or the Hudson County area.

✨ Pay: $20/hour
🗓️ Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays
• 9:00 AM to 10:00-10:30 AM
• 4:00 PM to 5:00-5:30 PM

Responsibilities include feeding, providing fresh water, changing litter, and reporting if anything seems unusual with the cats.

We are looking to fill this position immediately! If you're dependable, experienced with cats, and interested in joining us, we'd love to hear from you.
