Meet Ginny Jarvis, you know she is a reigning "Queen of the Court" and a true tournament legend who has played in every single "It Takes Guts" event since day one.

Ginny brings fierce competition and incredible heart to the nets year after year. She knows firsthand what makes this week so special: it isn't just about winning medals; it’s about community connection, incredible pickleball, and rallying our hometown to fight gastric cancer.

For the 5th Annual ITG Tournament this Thanksgiving week (November 19–23, 2026), we are intentionally capping registration early. We are skipping the overcrowded mega-tournament chaos to fiercely protect the cozy, fun, boutique feel that makes ITG an intimate and pampered experience for our 300 to 400 players.

21 Years of Beat-The-Odds Courage: Join Hans Rueffert at ITG 5!

🏓In 2005, Jasper’s own Chef Hans Rueffert was given a 2% chance of survival after a Stage 3B gastric cancer diagnosis. Today—21 years later—he is step-for-step on the pickleball court, pouring his heart into finding a cure.

From November 19–22, 2026, we’re bringing the 5th Annual "It Takes Guts" (ITG 5) Pickleball Tournament home to Bent Tree Pickleball Center in Jasper, GA. 100% of net proceeds go directly to the Gastric Cancer Foundation to fund life-saving research.
