Girls Camp is in the books, and our hearts are full. We had an intimate group this weekend, which meant deeper connection, real skill building, and a ton of fun.

To our incredible coaching staff and FCA, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You guys are the real MVPs. Big shoutout to Coach Rob for riding with us through both of these camps back to back. We are beyond blessed to have you with us.

A word from Coach JD:
"This weekend was a huge success, but it was also eye opening and disheartening. Our girls just don’t get the support and recognition they deserve in this space. Being our first girls camp, I’ll be transparent, I almost threw in the towel.
But after a talk with Coach Manners and a few others I was reminded: If we don't fight for these girls, who will?

I am so proud of every young lady who came out and gave it her all. This is just the beginning. Welcome to the DC Hoop family.”

These two guys played for Indiana Elite over the weekend and the reports as a trainer were amazing! Tytus has really been working on his lower half as he shoots, balance = power=consistency. Phoenix has being working on slowing down the game. If you ask me to explain basketball training simply, I would say it’s teaching athletes how to slow down. Everyone wants to go so fast but great players know when to go and when not to.

Tytus - after a few threes back to back says to his dad “did you see my feet and my balance”

Hey everyone, Coach JD here! We just wrapped up an incredible boys camp, and now it’s time for the girls to take the court this Friday and Saturday, July 24–25.

We still have spots open, and I want to be real with you: I am fighting for our girls programs. For far too long, I’ve watched girls' sports take a back seat with less attention and fewer resources. I’m on a mission to change that in Dubois County. I want our young female athletes to have every opportunity to compete, grow, and thrive.

Format: Friday features an intense training session. Saturday is all about training and putting those skills to the test in a Mini-AAU Tournament.
