🙏 WTBA Teacher’s Day — October 16th

Each year on October 16th, the World Thai Boxing Association celebrates Teacher’s Day—a day set aside for students to honor and show gratitude to the teachers who have shared with us the art of Muay Thai.

Traditionally, students may honor their teacher with:

🌸 Flowers
🕯️ 1 candle
🙏 3 sticks of incense

It is also optional to include a small amount of uncooked rice (approximately ½ cup) and a piece of fruit.

Many of you also know that supporting cancer organizations is especially meaningful to Ajarn Chai. In lieu of sending flowers, you may choose to honor him by making a donation to a cancer foundation. You may also send Ajarn Chai a card letting him know that a donation was made on his behalf so that others may benefit from your generosity.

Teacher’s Day is an opportunity to pause and recognize the teachers who have given us their time, knowledge, and guidance. We are very grateful for this community and for your continued willingness to honor and carry this tradition forward. 🙏

Team training and promotions

What a complete blessing to joy to be surrounded by these amazing people. It was a night to celebrate our team and individuals who've committed themselves to the process of self-improvement through Jiu-Jitsu. The value of training reaches far beyond acquiring skills. The comradery and community we enjoy is reward in itself. It's spending time in a place where students learn, grow, and ultimately structure a healthy lifestyle within a team environment.
