Bolt-on rc speedway

Crawlers and coffee this morning was another hit. Saw some new faces and new builds out on the course. We have 1 more crawlers and coffee event on Saturday morning July 25th 8am-11am and August starts our crawler comps.

Today crawlers and coffee is going on at Bolt-On rc speedway. 8am-11am. Come on down and play with you 1/30, 1/24, 1/18 crawlers.

I am on the way to the track running behind today due to work. Give me a bit should be there by 630pm

Tomorrow night is our first shake down race night since the last was rained out. Track should be set up by 6pm and racing at 730pm in back parking lot of K1 for Bolt-On rc speedway drag racing

Then Saturday morning is crawlers and coffee opens at 8am to 11am. Come have fun crawling and meeting other people and talking about there rigs. We will have comps starting in august.

Today was Sunday oval racing for the 1RC topless 100, fire cracker 250, and the fire cracker 500. First off this was a great turn out for a first time event of only 3 classes, we had 46 entries and multiple teams racing in this event. I’d like to thank everyone that came out from other tracks to race with us for the first time and enjoy some short track oval racing indoors.

The 1RC topless 602 late model race was a nail biter from the start of the 3 rounds of qualifying all the way through to the last lap. Some fast cars and back to the front racing, at the end was Steve spell taking the win, Dave Bolton in 2nd and Greg Chaney in 3rd

The fire cracker 250 was wild watching drivers decide when they want to pit either by strategy or whenever the car died off. The winner was Bob Lee and also had fastest lap of the day with a 3.060, second was T-rev, and 3rd was Blaine Hoopes.

The fire cracker 500 started with Bob Lee pulling away but had some issues with battery changes and had to fix wiring in the pits at this point the race was up for grabs and when the race ended it the team of Greg Chaney & Kris Mitchell taking the win, Steve Short & Wally David took the 2nd, and Gene Shrout jr & Wyatt ARP getting the 3rd with a motor falling off severely.

Through out today it seemed everyone had fun. We have learned what we can do for rules to make the next race better and improve the team aspect for the racing.

Friday night lights, indoor on road race was the perfect start to a good weekend of racing. 4 classes 21 entries and fun times.
