SUMMER CHAKRA SERIES • WEEK 6 • DAY 5

Reflection Creates Wisdom

We often spend so much time moving from one task to the next that we rarely stop to ask ourselves an important question:

“What am I learning?”

The Third Eye Chakra reminds us that wisdom doesn’t come simply from having experiences.

It comes from taking time to reflect on them.

Self-reflection allows us to notice patterns.

To celebrate growth.

To recognize habits that no longer serve us.

And to better understand the person we’re becoming.

When we slow down and become curious about our thoughts, emotions, and choices, we begin to see ourselves with greater clarity and compassion.

Reflection isn’t about criticizing ourselves.

It’s about learning from ourselves.

Every experience—whether joyful or challenging—has something to teach us.

Sometimes the lesson is patience.

Sometimes it’s courage.

Sometimes it’s discovering that we are far stronger than we realized.

The Third Eye Chakra invites us to become students of our own lives.

Not with judgment.

But with curiosity.

The more we understand ourselves, the easier it becomes to make choices that align with our values and support our well-being.

As you move through today, remember:

You are not the same person you were a year ago.

Or even a month ago.

Growth often happens so gradually that we don’t notice it until we pause long enough to look back.

Take a moment to honor how far you’ve come.

Celebrate the lessons you’ve learned.

And trust that every step—even the difficult ones—has helped shape the person you are becoming.

Your story is still unfolding.

And every reflection helps illuminate the path ahead.

Trusting Your Inner Wisdom

Have you ever had a feeling that something wasn’t quite right…

Or that a certain opportunity felt exactly right…

Even before you could explain why?

That quiet knowing is often what we call intuition.

The Third Eye Chakra reminds us that intuition isn’t magic.

It’s the wisdom that grows from experience, self-awareness, mindfulness, and learning to listen to ourselves.

Many of us have been taught to ignore that inner voice.

We second-guess ourselves.

We look to everyone else for answers.

We convince ourselves that we need more information before making a decision.

While seeking advice can be helpful, there comes a point when only you can decide what feels aligned with your life.

Your intuition doesn’t replace thoughtful decision-making.

It works alongside it.

Logic helps us gather information.

Intuition helps us recognize what resonates.

Together, they create wisdom.

One of the greatest barriers to intuition is noise.

The constant notifications.

The endless opinions.

The pressure to always have the “right” answer.

When our minds are constantly busy, it becomes difficult to hear our own inner guidance.

The Third Eye Chakra invites us to create moments of quiet.

Not because silence gives us the answers…

But because silence helps us hear them.

As you move through today, remember:

Your intuition isn’t always loud.

It often arrives as a quiet sense of peace.

A feeling of curiosity.

A gentle nudge toward what is aligned.

The more you practice listening, the more familiar that voice becomes.

Your inner wisdom has been walking beside you all along.

Today, choose to trust it just a little more than you did yesterday

SUMMER CHAKRA SERIES • WEEK 6 • DAY 3

Yoga for the Third Eye Chakra

The Third Eye Chakra isn’t opened by force.

It awakens through presence.

Unlike some of the lower chakras that are activated through movement and action, the Third Eye Chakra invites us to slow down, become still, and cultivate awareness.

Its wisdom often appears in quiet moments.

In deep breaths.

In meditation.

In the pause between thoughts.

When we create space for stillness, we create space to hear ourselves more clearly.

Yoga offers us an opportunity to quiet the constant chatter of the mind and reconnect with our inner wisdom.

The goal isn’t to stop thinking.

The goal is to notice our thoughts without becoming consumed by them.

As the mind becomes calmer, clarity naturally begins to emerge.

Some wonderful practices to support the Third Eye Chakra include:

💜 Child’s Pose (Balasana)

A grounding posture that encourages introspection and surrender.

💜 Forward Fold (Uttanasana)

Invites the mind to quiet while encouraging deep, steady breathing.

💜 Legs Up the Wall (Viparita Karani)

A restorative pose that calms the nervous system and encourages mental clarity.

As you move through today, remember:

You don’t have to figure everything out all at once.

Not every answer arrives through effort.

Some arrive through presence.

When you slow down enough to truly listen, your intuition has room to speak.

And often, it already knows the next step.

SUMMER CHAKRA SERIES • WEEK 6 • DAY 2

Seeing with Clarity

Yesterday we met the Third Eye Chakra, our energy center for intuition, wisdom, self-awareness, and inner guidance.

Today, let’s explore what it looks like when this chakra is balanced—and what happens when our inner vision becomes clouded.

Many people think intuition is something mystical or reserved for a select few.

But intuition is something we all experience.

It’s that quiet inner knowing.

The feeling that something is right—or isn’t.

The gentle nudge that encourages us to pause, reflect, or choose a different path.

The Third Eye Chakra reminds us that intuition isn’t about predicting the future.

It’s about becoming present enough to recognize the wisdom that already exists within us.

Signs of a Balanced Third Eye Chakra

You trust your intuition.
You think clearly before reacting.
You are open to new perspectives.
You notice patterns and life lessons.
You reflect before making important decisions.
You feel connected to your inner wisdom.

Signs of an Imbalanced Third Eye Chakra
Constant overthinking.
Difficulty trusting yourself.
Feeling mentally overwhelmed.
Seeking constant reassurance from others.
Black-and-white thinking.
Ignoring your intuition even when it speaks clearly.

Many of us have learned to question ourselves.

We replay conversations.
We overanalyze decisions.
We search outside ourselves for answers that our hearts may already know.

The Third Eye Chakra gently invites us to do something different.
To slow down.
To observe instead of immediately reacting.
To become curious rather than critical.

Sometimes clarity doesn’t come from thinking harder.
Sometimes it comes from becoming quieter.

When we create space for stillness, we begin to hear the wisdom beneath the noise.
As you move through today, remember:
You don’t have to have every answer today.
You simply need to create enough space to listen.
Your intuition isn’t meant to replace logic.
It’s meant to work alongside it.
When your mind, your heart, and your intuition work together, you begin making choices that feel aligned, peaceful, and authentic.

The wisdom you seek isn’t somewhere out there.
It’s already within you, waiting patiently for you to listen.

SUMMER CHAKRA SERIES • WEEK 6 • DAY 1

Meet the Third Eye Chakra

Welcome to Week 6 of our Chakra Summer Series!
Over the past five weeks, we’ve built a foundation of safety, creativity, confidence, compassion, and authentic communication.
Now, we begin turning inward.

This week, we explore the Third Eye Chakra, known in Sanskrit as Ajna.
Located in the center of the forehead between the eyebrows, the Third Eye Chakra is associated with intuition, wisdom, insight, imagination, inner knowing, and self-awareness.

If the Throat Chakra teaches us to speak our truth…
The Third Eye Chakra teaches us to recognize it.
It reminds us that wisdom isn’t only found outside ourselves.
Sometimes the answers we’re searching for have been quietly waiting within us all along.

When the Third Eye Chakra is balanced, we may notice:
Strong intuition
Mental clarity
Self-awareness
Trust in our inner wisdom
Open-mindedness
The ability to see the bigger picture

When the Third Eye Chakra becomes imbalanced, we may experience:
Self-doubt
Difficulty trusting our instincts
Feeling mentally scattered or overwhelmed
Overthinking every decision
Rigid thinking or fear of new perspectives
Constantly seeking validation from others instead of ourselves

The Third Eye Chakra doesn’t ask us to predict the future.

It invites us to become more present.
More aware.
More willing to notice what our thoughts, emotions, and experiences are trying to teach us.
It encourages us to slow down long enough to hear the quiet voice beneath all the noise.

That voice isn’t fear.
It isn’t perfectionism.
It isn’t self-criticism.
It’s your inner wisdom.
And it has been with you all along.

Throughout this week, we’ll explore intuition, mindfulness, perspective, self-reflection, visualization, and ways to strengthen our connection with our inner guidance.

As you move through today, notice the moments when you pause before reacting.

Notice the quiet nudges that invite you to slow down, reflect, or choose a different path.

The Third Eye Chakra reminds us that wisdom often whispers.

When we create space to listen, we begin to see ourselves—and the world—with greater clarity.

Trust that your inner guidance is growing stronger with every mindful moment.

SUMMER CHAKRA SERIES • WEEK 5 • DAY 7

Throat Chakra Integration Challenge

Over the past week, we’ve explored the Throat Chakra—the energy center of communication, authenticity, listening, and self-expression.

Together we’ve practiced:
Finding our authentic voice
Speaking with honesty and kindness
Listening with presence
Creating space for our truth
Living in alignment with our values
Communicating with courage and compassion

Now it’s time to bring everything together.

The Throat Chakra reminds us that authentic communication isn’t something we do only during difficult conversations.

It’s something we practice every day.
It shows up in the promises we keep to ourselves.
The boundaries we honor.
The questions we ask.
The way we listen.
The words we choose.

And the courage to let others know who we truly are.

When our voice, our heart, and our actions are aligned, we begin to live with greater peace and integrity.
That is the gift of Vishuddha.

Today’s Throat Chakra Integration Challenge
Choose one activity from each category:

🎤 Speak

Have one honest conversation you’ve been avoiding.

👂 Listen

Give someone your full attention without interrupting or planning your response.

✍️ Express

Journal about something you’ve been wanting to say but haven’t yet expressed.

💙 Align

Choose one action today that reflects your deepest values.

🌿 Encourage

Use your words to uplift someone else with a sincere compliment or words of encouragement.

💙 Reflection

Take a quiet moment to consider:

How has my communication changed this week?

Where do I still hold back?

When do I feel most authentic?

How can I continue honoring my voice every day?

Notice how even small shifts in communication can create healthier relationships—with others and with yourself.

As you finish this week, celebrate how far you’ve come.

You practiced speaking with intention.

You learned to listen more deeply.

You strengthened your authentic voice.

And perhaps most importantly…

You gave yourself permission to be seen.

Your voice doesn’t have to be perfect.

It simply has to be genuine.

The world doesn’t need a louder version of you.

It needs the real you.

SUMMER CHAKRA SERIES • WEEK 5 • DAY 6

Living Your Truth Every Day
Speaking your truth isn’t a single conversation.
It’s a way of living.

The Throat Chakra isn’t only activated during difficult discussions or important speeches.
It shows up in the small moments throughout our day.
The choices we make.
The boundaries we set.
The promises we keep to ourselves.
The way we communicate with the people we love.

Living authentically doesn’t mean saying everything that comes to mind.
It means allowing your words, actions, and values to work together.

When they align, life feels more peaceful.
More honest.
More grounded.

Authenticity often looks surprisingly ordinary.
Saying “no” without feeling guilty.
Asking for help when you need it.
Admitting when you don’t know the answer.
Sharing your ideas, even if they aren’t perfect.
Choosing kindness without sacrificing honesty.
Standing up for someone who needs support.
Allowing yourself to change your mind.

Every one of these moments strengthens your relationship with yourself.
And every time you honor your truth, you make it a little easier to do it again.

The opposite is also true.
Every time we ignore our intuition, silence our needs, or pretend to be someone we’re not, we slowly become disconnected from our authentic voice.

The good news?
We can reconnect at any moment.
Authenticity isn’t something you achieve.
It’s something you practice.
One conversation.
One boundary.
One honest moment at a time

As you move through today, remember:

Your most authentic life isn’t built through one grand decision.
It’s built through thousands of small moments where you choose honesty over fear…
Integrity over approval…
And authenticity over perfection.
When you allow yourself to be fully seen, you give others permission to do the same.
And that’s how genuine connection begins.

SUMMER CHAKRA SERIES • WEEK 5 • DAY 5

Listening Is an Act of Love

When we think about communication, we often focus on speaking.
But one of the greatest gifts we can offer another person is our attention.
Listening isn’t simply waiting for our turn to talk.
It’s choosing to be fully present.
The Throat Chakra reminds us that communication is a two-way exchange.
Our voice matters.
And so does someone else’s.

When we listen with intention, we communicate something powerful:

“You matter.”
“I’m here.”
“I want to understand.”
Listening doesn’t mean we have to agree with everything we hear.

It means we approach conversations with curiosity instead of assumption.
With compassion instead of judgment.
With openness instead of defensiveness.
Many misunderstandings don’t happen because people aren’t speaking.

They happen because people aren’t truly listening.
Think about the last conversation where you felt deeply heard.
How did it make you feel?
Safe?
Valued?
Connected?
Seen?
Now imagine offering that same experience to someone else.
Sometimes healing begins not with the perfect words…
…but with a quiet presence.

A Communication Practice
In your next conversation, try listening without planning your response.

Instead, focus on understanding.
Maintain eye contact.
Notice your breathing.
Allow pauses without rushing to fill the silence.
Ask thoughtful questions.
Reflect back what you heard before sharing your own perspective.
You may be surprised how much deeper your conversations become.

As you move through today, remember:
Communication isn’t measured by how much we say.
It’s measured by how deeply we connect.
Sometimes the most meaningful thing you can offer another person isn’t advice.
It’s your full attention.
And in a world full of distractions, that is one of the greatest acts of love.

SUMMER CHAKRA SERIES • WEEK 5 • DAY 4

Speaking Your Truth with Courage
Finding your voice isn’t about becoming louder.
It’s about becoming more honest.

The Throat Chakra teaches us that authentic communication begins with authenticity—not perfection.
Many of us have learned to stay quiet.
Sometimes it’s because we don’t want to hurt someone.
Sometimes it’s because we fear rejection.
Sometimes we’ve spent so long trying to keep the peace that we’ve forgotten our own needs.
But every time we silence our truth, we silence a part of ourselves.

The Throat Chakra invites us to communicate with both courage and compassion.
It reminds us that honesty and kindness can exist together.
Speaking your truth doesn’t require harsh words.
It simply requires authentic ones.

Sometimes speaking your truth sounds like:
“I need some time to think.”
“That doesn’t feel right to me.”
“I appreciate your perspective.”
“ I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished.”
“I need support.”
“No, thank you.”
“Yes, I’d love that.”

Healthy communication isn’t about winning an argument.
It’s about creating understanding.
It’s about expressing your needs while remaining curious about someone else’s experience.
One of the greatest gifts we can offer another person is honest communication delivered with respect.
And one of the greatest gifts we can offer ourselves is the courage to stop pretending we’re okay when we’re not.

As you move through today, remember:
Your authentic voice isn’t something you have to find.
It’s something you’ve had all along.
Every time you choose honesty over fear…
Every time you communicate with integrity…
Every time your words align with your heart…
You strengthen your Throat Chakra and deepen your connection to yourself.
Your truth matters.
And the world is better when you share it.

💙SUMMER CHAKRA SERIES • WEEK 5 • DAY 3

Yoga for the Throat Chakra

Our voice is more than the words we speak.

It reflects our thoughts, our emotions, our experiences, and our truth.

When we hold back what we need to say—or constantly say what we think others want to hear—we often carry that tension in our bodies.

Many people unknowingly store stress in the:
Jaw
Neck
Shoulders
Upper chest
Throat

The Throat Chakra invites us to soften these areas while creating space for honest expression.

Just as importantly, it reminds us that communication begins with listening.
Listening to our own inner wisdom.
Listening to our bodies.
Listening to others with curiosity instead of judgment.

Yoga gives us an opportunity to practice both openness and awareness.

Some wonderful poses to support the Throat Chakra include:

Fish Pose (Matsyasana)
Gently opens the throat and chest while encouraging vulnerability and trust.

Supported Fish Pose
A restorative variation that allows the front of the neck and heart to soften.

Cat-Cow (Marjaryasana–Bitilasana)
Encourages fluid movement through the spine while coordinating movement with breath.

Thread the Needle
Releases tension in the shoulders and upper back, helping create more freedom through the neck.

Child’s Pose
Offers a quiet opportunity to turn inward and listen.

Neck & Shoulder Stretches
Simple, mindful movements can release accumulated tension and improve awareness of this often-overlooked area.

As you practice today, notice where you’re holding tension.

Can you soften your jaw?

Relax your shoulders?

Take a slower breath?

Sometimes creating space in the body helps create space for As you move through today, remember:

Speaking your truth isn’t about saying everything that comes to mind.

It’s about allowing your words to reflect your values, your integrity, and your authentic self.

Sometimes the strongest voice is also the calmest one.

When your mind, heart, and voice work together, your communication becomes a gift—not only to yourself, but to everyone around you.
