Greetings! This is Michael Jurney, President of Youth to Champions and Southside Baseball Association (SBA). I am excited to announce that, moving forward this Fall, CKAA (Christ the King Athletic Academy), in partnership with Youth to Champions, will be taking over Southside Baseball Association's recreational baseball program.

What does this mean?

This means that moving forward, Youth to Champions and CKAA will work together to provide the best recreational experience possible for our youth in the surrounding communities. This will provide a more organized way of doing things, from scheduling, administrative needs, concessions, or field maintenance. We felt that together we could provide better services for our families, community, and for the park property as well.

Games and practices will be played at both Glynlea Park and CTK, only a few minutes down the road. CKAA will also offer other sport options as well as Flag Football and Softball, among other sports.
Youth to Champions will still hold permits to the park to help ensure that the property is well taken care of and to ensure its longevity. We are going to continue to work with the community and the city to keep Glynlea Park thriving for years to come. To be honest, not a whole lot is changing, just adding allies who love the community just as much as we do.
