Meet Anna 👋 She’s been with Ferrum Athletic Co for two and a half years now.

Her favorite clients? The ones who show up excited to learn or ready to get out of pain, and willing to put in the effort. When there’s motivation on their end, that’s when the magic happens.

It’s the same question every time, phrased about a dozen different ways.

How busy is it. Is it a big class. Will I be the slowest one in there.
What they’re actually asking is whether they’ll be seen struggling.
So here it is, plainly.

FORGED is three to four people.
Small enough that nobody is watching you, because everyone is on their own program doing their own thing.
Your coach is three feet away the whole hour.

BUILT is six and up.
Same movement across the room, different weight on every bar.
Nobody is comparing, because there’s nothing to compare.
The person next to you is in week one and you might be in week five.

Neither room has a leaderboard. Neither room has a version where you fall behind.
And the slowest person in either one is usually the person who has been coming the longest, moving carefully on purpose, because that’s what we taught them.

Comment FORGED or BUILT and we’ll tell you which room fits.

Anyone can hand you a workout. There are apps that will do it in four seconds and never ask you a single question first.

What they cannot do is notice that your left knee gets loud in week three of every cycle.

Or that you move beautifully on Tuesdays and fall apart on Thursdays because Wednesday is your twelve hour shift.

Or that the weight you just hit was clean, and the next one on the sheet is not going to be.

That’s the job. Not adding more. Knowing exactly what to remove, and when, and for whom.

We call it prescriptive training because the program is written for one body and adjusted by someone who is standing there watching that body work.

Your history, your restrictions, your week. Not a template with your name typed at the top.

Comment ASSESS and we’ll start where you actually are.

If muscle came in a pill, every doctor in the country would be handing it out.

It lowers your risk of falling.
Improves insulin sensitivity.
Protects your joints.

Holds bone density in place.
Supports your metabolism, your hormones, your sleep, your mood, your independence at 80.

There is no medication that does all of that.
And yet almost nobody walks out of an appointment with strength training written down as the plan.

They get told to move more. Do some cardio. Take it easy on the back.

So people spend years doing the things that don’t touch the actual problem, and then assume their body is just done.

It isn’t done. It was never asked to do anything.

We built Ferrum around it.
Assessment first, then a program written for your body, your history, and your joints.

Plus a network of doctors and specialists in Jacksonville we work with directly when the answer sits outside the gym.

Not a workout. A plan.

Comment LONGEVITY and let’s find your starting point.
