Over the past few games, FCA has observed an increase in incidents involving players showing dissent toward umpiring decisions, using inappropriate or foul language toward opponents, and engaging in unsportsmanlike conduct. We have also noticed situations where captains have failed to restrain or control their players during these incidents.

Let us be very clear: this behavior is unacceptable and has no place in cricket or within the Florida Cricket Association (FCA). We expect all players, captains, and teams to uphold the spirit of the game and demonstrate respect toward umpires, opponents, teammates, and spectators at all times.

Effective immediately, FCA will enforce the following disciplinary actions:

- First Offense: Official warning issued to the player and team captain.
- Second Offense: Immediate suspension of both the player involved and the team captain for the next scheduled game.
- Further or Serious Offenses: The player may be banned from participating for the remainder of the current season, with additional disciplinary action against the captain and/or team if warranted.

Captains are responsible for maintaining discipline within their teams. Failure to control players or address misconduct on the field will result in accountability for both the player and the captain.

We ask all captains to communicate this message to their players and ensure that future matches are conducted with the respect, sportsmanship, and professionalism that FCA expects.
