Greater Jacksonville Kingfish Tournament

Jacksonville Marine Charities has restocked the life jacket loaner stations in our area.

These stations were put up by Eagle Scouts in our community and are sponsored by companies like Browns Creek Fish Camp, Inc.

Let’s all do our part to keep the youth in our community safe on the water. Use what you need, then when you’re done leave them for the next kid to use.

Congrats to Christopher Henninger on his win of the 2026 Greater Jacksonville Redfish Tournament with a weight of 7.94lbs!

We wanted to take a moment and say thank you for the support!

Last year we hit 7,500 followers, and we had this big post planned for when we hit 8,500. That came and went sometime during the tournament. We’re now at 8756 and climbing our way to 10,000!

From the fishermen, to the volunteers and our amazing sponsors none of what we do is possible without the community support!

News from the awards ceremony of the Alive Credit Union 46th Greater Jacksonville Kingfish Tournament! Jim Suber, Chairman of the Board of Directors for Jacksonville Marine Charities, announced that the board has voted to name Chris Ebreo as Tournament Chairman for the 47th Greater Jacksonville Kingfish Tournament!

This will be Chris’s 3rd year leading the tournament, and he’s grateful for the board’s continued support. He’s ready to take on the opportunity and challenge of running another unforgettable GJKT!

Congrats Chris, time to get ready for an epic 47th year!
