Nothing beats a little friendly competition, sunshine, and good company at San Jose! We love seeing our members take Mahjong out of the clubhouse and straight to the pool. 💕 Who says game day can’t come with a splash? 😎

Dear Members,

It is with profound sadness that we share news of an unimaginable tragedy involving Genti Manati, a valued member of our kitchen staff, and his family.

On Wednesday morning, a devastating house fire took the lives of the three young children of Genti, his wife, and their surviving children were critically injured and remain hospitalized.

There are simply no words adequate for a loss of this magnitude. On behalf of the entire San Jose Country Club community, we extend our deepest condolences to Genti, his wife, their family, and all who love them. We are heartbroken for them and committed to providing as much support as we can during the difficult days and months ahead.

For those who wish to help, there are two ways to do so:

Members may also support the Lion’s Den Foundation, our 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to assisting San Jose employees and their immediate families through emergency hardship grants, health and wellness assistance, and other forms of support. We also recognize that news this devastating can stir grief, fear, or painful memories.
