Slowly started removing the walking boot this week. Practiced a little Sunday and played 9 Tuesday night with some amazing ladies. They drive close to my ball and let me play slow. I'm at about 75% of my regular distances, which is probably from swinging pretty slow and small (hopefully I haven't lost technique!). Trying not to weight shift too quickly, and really don't want to mess up the swing. Bad swings hurt everything. Left Wednesday for vacation and there doesn't seem to be anything worse than driving. Swollen everywhere again, and super stiff. It's been 2 weeks today, nothing too surprising.

Trying to stay off my , let things go, and leave space for healing the last week. Also, as a stubborn gym owner, class instructor, and golf obsessed human, I know I will be back on it before its ready. I wear the boot everywhere to prolong protecting the whole foot and ankle. I'm not wasting the energy it needs on trips to do laundry! My first long walk without support will definitely be on a ... and hopefully soon! Being both honest and safe are the backbone to our injury recovery training for athletes. You know who you are if it's right for you.
I've got classes all week and a tee time coming up! I might be stubborn, but I take the healing seriously. This is how I feed the healing process from the inside out. Injury recovery is a passion of mine, we want to heal fast and get back out there, but we need to heal right if we are going to make it out there. What do you do to help your body along?
