Nessa Whittington grew up dancing in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, and began teaching at 14 years old after assisting at her home studio, Polly B Dance Academy. Now with 12 years of teaching experience, she has developed a passion for choreography, mentorship, and training dancers of all ages. She earned her BFA in Dance with a minor in Business from Jacksonville University, graduating magna cm laude, and received the 2022 Excellence in Dance Choreography Award from the Linda Berry College of Fine Arts. She is currently the head coach of the Fletcher High School Dance Team and has taught throughout the Jacksonville area at studios and programs including Village Dance Center, First Coast Center for the Arts, NOVA Dance & Wellness Academy, Faithbridge Fine Arts Ministry, and Miss Felicia’s Dance. She also spent time teaching and choreographing in Atlanta and continues to set choreography for Roswell Dance Starz.

Payton Atkins is an accomplished dancer, choreographer, and competition judge from Ponte Vedra, Florida. She recently earned her Master of Business Administration from The University of West Florida and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University, where she was a four-year member and captain of the nationally ranked Golden Girls Dance Team. During her time at FSU, Atkins represented the United States as a member of Team USA in 2023, earning a gold medal at the ICU World Championships. She currently works as a dance instructor, traveling choreographer, and college core staff member with Universal Dance Association (UDA).
