This season we've started using the Genesis 3.1 DPV from Dive Logic on our spearfishing dives... and... WOW... GAME CHANGER!! We have quickly learned that use of a DPV while spearfishing allows you to cover more ground, access fish you otherwise would have missed and help us to conserve breathing gas and energy on deeper dives. Check out Flipper's Diving owner Matt Myers as he uses the Genesis to cover 5x's the territory at depths up to 140ft!

Flipper and friends met me on my safety stop with about 2 minutes to go. We grabbed a camera and they spent 20 minutes just swimming around us non stop... coming so close you could reach out and touch them. Awesome experience!

Flipper's Diving August spearfishing workshop in the books! We had 4 new spearos and 2 workshop graduates join us for an evening of instruction and a full day offshore aboard the R/V Explorer with Nautical Divers. Lookout... we've now got a crew of qualified spearos ready to slay the fish and fill the coolers! These 4 divers absolutely "killed it" offshore... from hot drops on ledges, free ascents with SMB deployment to hunting and stalking fish and snagging lobster, they will not go hungry!
