From request to finished product. Every print order starts with a request. From there, our team turns that request into an order, begins production, checks the finished product for quality, and prepares it for shipping.

It is more than printing. It is hands-on experience, attention to detail, teamwork, responsibility, and an opportunity to build skills that can carry far beyond the shop.
And we’re not stopping here.

🔥 Next week, we’re taking you behind the scenes of MAGCOR Metal Fabrication.

You’ll meet the people behind the work, hear their stories, see demonstrations from inside the shop, and learn more about the skills being developed every day.
Most importantly, we’ll introduce you to whose future you are helping build when you purchase a MAGCOR product.

Follow along. The next shop doors are about to open.

Every skill developed is a skill passed on. Montana is a fantastic example of drive and willingness to grow. He has mastered many various machines around the shop and has taken guys under his wing in the last few years.

Montana said, "I have had the privilege to train five individuals in this trade/skill. I feel that they have been given a new and well skilled trade to continue at home. These guys have all gone home, and I am in the process of training another person.

Working for MAGCOR for all these years, every MAGCOR employee and supervisor has always had a way of helping you achieve capabilities you didn't know you could at the time."

Every print item we create is building skills that not only people futures but lifts them up in the present. It gives a sense of pride and understanding that they are capable of so much more than their past mistakes. They are worth investing in! We are honored to walk this journey with them.

Behind every finished product is a process built on skill, precision, and teamwork.

Investing in skills. Building stronger futures.

Every finished book begins with skill, precision, and attention to detail.

In this video, one of our print shop guys demonstrates how he operates the perfect binding machine, a process that securely binds printed pages into a clean, professional finished product.

Through hands-on work experience, participants learn how to operate specialized equipment, follow production standards, solve problems, and take pride in the quality of their work. These are more than shop skills. They are tools that build confidence, responsibility, and stronger opportunities for the future.

“I am still a work in progress, and I believe everyone is always a work in progress.”

After 33 years of incarceration, his story is one of accountability, growth, faith, and the decision to become a better person.
He openly acknowledges that he once made choices that led him down a destructive path. However, through the grace of God, he began to recognize that his past did not have to define the person he would become.

“God saw someone worth saving and began working to change me. God saw fit to change me, my heart, and my life.”
Working with MAGCOR has given him the opportunity to build a peaceful and productive routine while learning valuable skills.
Over the years, he has learned printing, padding, bookbinding, inventory management, press operations, work order preparation, and quoting. Along the way, he gained more than technical knowledge. He developed responsibility, discipline, confidence, and a desire to help others grow.

Today, he uses his experience to mentor younger men morally, mentally, and spiritually. He encourages them to use their time wisely, take advantage of opportunities to learn, and begin making changes before returning home.

“We are here to help one another grow, and at the end of the day, that is what matters most.”
Change begins with a choice. It is strengthened through faith, learning, accountability, and the willingness to keep growing one day at a time.

This is what skills building looks like.

Inside the MAGCOR Print Shop, Mo is learning how to operate specialized printing equipment, understand each step of the production process, solve problems, and complete work with precision.

These are more than daily tasks. They are transferable skills that build confidence, technical knowledge, and experience that can help create opportunities for the future.

Mo’s story is one of transformation, rehabilitation, and personal growth. We are proud of the work he has put into learning and building a stronger future for himself.

When we invest in people, we invest in safer communities, stronger families, and better futures.

For someone preparing to come home, the small things can make a big difference.

Having the right clothes for a job interview, a first day of work, an appointment, or simply the first few days after release can help remove one more barrier during an already overwhelming transition.

That is why we are so grateful to the Central Mississippi 500 Continuum of Care for their recent donation to the MAGCOR Clothing Closet.

Our reentry team works to make sure individuals do not leave incarceration without support. From clothing and essential documents to employment preparation, housing connections, transportation assistance, and other basic needs, our goal is to help each person take that next step with a stronger foundation.

Donations like this help us continue that work.

Thank you to the Central Mississippi 500 Continuum of Care for believing in second chances and for helping us make sure the people we serve have what they need as they prepare for life after incarceration.

A second chance is stronger when someone has the tools and support to make the most of it.
