Hanover-Horton Youth Boys Basketball (Grades 3rd-6th and gauging interest for 2nd graders)
Our youth travel basketball program is designed exclusively for Hanover-Horton boys in 2nd-6th grade. Players will practice 1-2 times per week with their team and compete against other area programs throughout the season.
What does a season look like?
🏀 Practices begin this fall in October (avoiding fall sports season end as much as possible)
🏀 Teams practice 1-2 times each week
🏀 Games and tournaments are played on weekends
🏀 Most tournament weekends include 3 games against other local teams
Grade-Level Overview
🔹 2nd Grade: Gauging Interest for possible league play and local tournaments (Jan/Feb). Please note, Jr. Pro will also still be offered later this winter. 2nd grade would play up into a 3rd grade division on 10-foot rims.
🔹 3rd Grade: Local tournaments (Jan/Feb) and possible Saturday winter league play in Adrian.
🔹 4th-6th Grade: Fall league opportunities in Tecumseh plus weekend tournaments January-March.
Costs:
The cost of the season can be anywhere between $50 - $200 dollars. Once we have registration complete, we will work with coaches to finalize tournament/league schedules and costs for your team.
