🏆 **BACK-TO-BACK CHAMPIONS!** 🏆

**Dallas Nepalese XI** — our 3rd tournament final and **back-to-back Nepalese T20 Cup Finals!** This time against our familiar opponent, **Dallas Gurkhas**, at the iconic **Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium**, a venue that hosted the 2024 T20 World Cup. 🏏🇺🇸

We won the toss and chose to bowl. Early wickets from **Anil Shah** and **Diwash Bhusal** gave us momentum before **Bigyan Pandey “Vigs”** worked his magic, taking **3 crucial wickets**, including Nepali international **Aarif Sheikh**, who was flying at 50 off 25.

A disciplined bowling effort restricted Gurkhas to **183/9 in 20 overs.**

Then came the chase.

**184 in a Final. At Grand Prairie.**

Our batsmen had different plans. 🔥

**Deepesh Kadariya 16 (15)** gave us a decent start, before the **RAM SHOW** began.

The Final Showdown.🏏✨
Walking out onto a world-class stage at the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in front of a massive crowd—the atmosphere was electric, the pressure was real, and the stakes couldn’t have been higher.
After winning the toss and choosing to bat, we faced a nightmare start, collapsing to 15-5 by the 4th over. But true character is revealed when your backs are against the wall. Our experienced master, Vigyan Pandey(24), and Mr. Consistent, Sumit Koirala (20), stepped up with a massive rescue partnership, followed by a handy 15 from Rohit Das to drag us to 93.
Defending a low total was always going to be a mountain to climb against a top-notch opponent. Anil gave us a glimmer of hope with an early breakthrough, and both Vigyan and Bipin chipped in with a wicket each, but the Nepali Stars showed class in all formats bat, ball, and field to chase it down in 12.1 overs.
It’s not the fairytale ending we worked so hard for, but walking away as Runners-Up in a tournament of this scale is something to be incredibly proud of. We take the silver, we take the invaluable lessons from the big stage, and we promise to come back stronger.

🔥 FINALS BOUND! 🏆
A delayed start and a shortened 15-over game couldn’t slow us down. After a tough start with the bat, Diwash Bhusal (40 off 31) and Sumit Koirala (34 off 21) launched a middle-order rescue mission with 6 towering sixes between them to power us to 120! 💥
Then, our bowling attack took completely over. Diwash was absolutely unplayable, tearing through the lineup to grab 4 massive wickets, backed up by exceptional glovework from Rohit Das behind the stumps! Vigyan (2 wkts), Anil (1 wkt), Suraj (1 wkt), and Bipin (1 wkt) choked the run flow to restrict them to 94.
Incredible team effort to take down the Dallas Gurkhas by 26 runs. One more win to bring the trophy home! Let’s go! 🇳🇵🏏

After being pushed to the ropes at 58-5 early on, the boys showed what championship grit looks like. A massive 80+ run partnership turned the game completely around!

NST Cricket Cup 2026 — Game 2 Result: Dallas Nepalese XI (169/9) defeated Hamro Team (156/7) by 13 runs.
Innings 1: Deepesh’s Fireworks Fuel a Competitive Total
Choosing to set a target, Dallas Nepalese XI got off to an absolutely explosive start. Deepesh Kadariya left the opposition stunned in the very first over, putting on a masterclass by smashing 4 towering sixes to give the team instant momentum. Deepesh raced to a brilliant 50 off just 26 balls, setting a dominant tone.
As the innings progressed, Rohit Das played a crucial anchoring role with a gritty 28 off 29 balls to steady the ship through the middle overs, while Diwash Bhusal chipped in with a valuable 19 off 21 balls. Despite losing late wickets and finishing on 169/9, the team put up a highly competitive total on the board.
