Last weekend KMOC conducted a Basic Handgun Defense Seminar. The seminar addressed self-defense tactics and scenarios involving handgun threats against individuals. Participants we introduced to basic skills regarding defending against threats in the context of an attempted assault, robbery or home invasion. The concepts were introduced and drilled in various scenarios that create a safe and appropriate learning environment. Thank you all for coming and taking your time to learn lifesaving skills.

Congratulations to our July 18, 2026 Women’s Self-Defense seminar participants! These women took an important step toward strengthening their personal safety by choosing to train, learn, and build confidence.
A big thank you to DJ, Ying, Jackie, Gal, and Mila for sharing skills from our curriculum and helping participants improve their situational awareness, confidence, and ability to respond to threats they may face in everyday life.

Green belts earned! Students who receive green belt also receive a KMOC challenge coin. Challenge coins are used in the military and law enforcement to signify membership in a unit or team. Our coin signifies that they belong to a group of advanced students who have committed themselves to improving their personal safety and the safety of those in their communities.

KMOC conducted green belt testing on June 27th. We had 4 students testing for green and 5 re-testing for green in prep for their blue belt test. During this test, we cover EVERYTHING that they've learned from the day they walked in the door through the entire green belt curriculum. They spent months preparing. After 5 1/2 hours of testing and demonstrating their knowledge and ability to execute, we're happy to say that all passed! Congrats!
