Meet Theia Chen, our August Skater of the Month! ⛸️⭐️✨

⛸️ Theia has been training at Great Park Ice for four years, and loves participating in figure skating competitions.

🥇 She recently placed first in her Aspire 1 group, with the second highest score among all thirty Aspire 1 competitors.

🥞 Theia recently masted the pancake spin, which we're sure would make her favorite skater, Lucinda Ruh, very proud!

Way to go Theia! Keep it up! ⛸️⭐️👏

July's Great Park Ice Skater of the Month is Cayden Roberts! ⛸️⭐️👏

⛸️ Cayden has been skating for two years, and is currently competing in Basic 4.

⭐️ You can often find Cayden on the ice learning new figure skating skills, and performing his favorite one: three turns!

🍕 Cayden's favorite color is pink, and he loves pepperoni pizza. He's also learning Korean!

Congratulations to Daniel Kotowitz, our July Player of the Month! ⭐️🏒👏

🏒 Daniel is in his first season of 10U hockey, after spending the last two years playing 8U, and he has made the jump with confidence. He brings a great attitude to the rink every day, always has a smile on his face, listens to his coaches, and has a genuine passion for the game.

🥅 This season, Daniel has impressed with timely goals, smart passes, and strong decision-making on the ice. His hard work and dedication show every time he plays.

We recently hosted our fourth annual Disabled Hockey Jamboree, presented by Easterseals SoCal at Great Park Ice!

Coaches (including Anaheim Ducks alumni Jeff Friesen and David Karpa), hockey gear, and ice time were provided to put on Sled Hockey and Special Hockey clinics for kids interested in trying adaptive hockey.
