Details about the recipient will be revealed in due time, but what we can let slip is that the proceeds will be going to a local, making this even more special.

A great read and small glimpse of what it means to play in, work, or attend a NARCh finals event The Rinks - Irvine Inline.

Months of prep go into each finals. Rink upgrades and facility work is only half the battle. Planning for and imagining every possible contingency in advance to keep the game rolling, and still random things happen. Our small staff of 30 come together for 12 brutal days in the dead of summer to put on the biggest hockey tournament in the country. We operate nearly 24 hours a day for the duration. At any given moment we have thousands of people in our roller hockey wonderland.

Staff are pushed to the limits with trash cans that seem to fill comically fast, snack bar lines, and bathroom restocks. But this is when the building is alive, there is an air of excitement and hockey stank. We wouldn’t have it any other way!

Now that Rink 1's new floor has been installed we are selling the old tiles. Stop by the rink this week and pick up a stack. They are perfect for a garage or back yard shooting pad and at home training setup.

Tiles are $1 each but you can buy them in sheets (4x3) for $12 to make transporting them and installing them a bit quicker.

We want to get them outta here before NARCh Finals so come by ASAP!
