I get this question all the time: “What can I do with my 5–10-year-old to help their golf game?”
If your goal is college or even professional golf, my biggest tip is don’t just focus on golf! Sounds crazy, right? But young athletes need a variety of movements to build coordination, strength, and athleticism.
✅ Soccer
✅ Basketball
✅ Flag football
✅ Gymnastics (one of my favorites!)
✅ Even just playing at the park—monkey bars, running, climbing!
These activities develop physical and mental skills that will make them more well-rounded golfers in high school and beyond. So, let them play, explore, and grow into the athlete they need to be!
