Ireton Walleye Classic champions for 2026 are Tracy Ping, Dawn and Clint McKee with 15 pounds 5oz. 2nd place was Jay Vlotho and Ashton Gazafe. Tie for 3rd place was Kyle Goodmanson - Seth Liston and Gerod Gradert boat with Clayton Gradert and Hunter Gradert. Fun was had by all on a very windy day!! Thank you to all the participants!!

Ireton Sportsmans Club Walleye Classic fishing tournament has been held for over 50 years. This year it will be held on Saturday June 13th. Weigh in is at the White Swan boat ramp West of Pickstown South Dakota. Fishing is from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. You can fish anywhere on the Missouri River as long as you are back at the boat ramp to weigh by 4:00 PM. Entry fee is $50 per boat. No limit on the number of fishermen per boat. South Dakota fishing rules apply. Weigh up to 7 Walleye per boat with only 2 over 20 inches long. Call Paul Eilts to enter at (712)422-2716. Feel free to post any fishing pictures in the comments. Let's get the trash talk going.😆

Ireton Sportsmans Club was established over 50 years ago by a group of sportsmen that enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting, socializing and generally having fun. They moved an old country school building to a small plot of land just West of Ireton. It has been improved and other additions created in the years since then. They host a steak feed the first Monday of the month for members and guests. There is trap shooting, Rifle and pistol ranges and Shed for cleaning and butchering game. The building is available for members to rent for small gatherings. If you are interested in becoming a member feel free to message us or contact a member.
