Last Friday night, the Delta Veteran Center spent the evening at the range. They invited Veterans from other groups along with their families. The evening started off at the practice range getting some shooting in before heading down to our building for a very nice meal. Afterwards the group split up and some headed out to shoot our unmarked course and the others headed back to the practice range. All branches of the military were represented for a fun filled evening.

Lodi Bowmen Archery Range was just recognized in a recent Ledger article - celebrating 50 years!

We had 21 members participate in our Saturday morning work-party. Worked on cleaning outhouses, rebuilt 3D's, rebuilt 3 target butts & re-stack sandbags were just some of the tasks that were completed. THANK YOU to all that are helping us to keep forward progress with range improvements.
28 members attended our General meeting. We welcomed new members; Joe/Erin Cutino, Asher/Melanie Jordan to our LB family. Meeting went pretty quick due to the heat. Meeting money pot was $178, and the winner was Jeff Bowles. Sorry Jeff, you must be present to win.
20 shooters attended Club Shoot Sunday "Funday". Most arrived early to beat the heat. We shot 17 unmarked 3D's including some does playing interference, steel bear and a flying fish clout. Money pot winners were; 1st - Russell L/Alvin K winning $8 ea. 2nd - Mike A/Owen S winning $4 ea. Participation raffle winner was Bryn B winning a Lowes $25 gift card. Flying fish clout winner was Mike A winning a LB hat. Next month's shoot will be on Sept 13th. Registration 7am to 9am, must be on the course by 9am. All losing participation raffle tickets are entered into the 2nd chance drawing for a Feral goat 3D, along with other prizes at our season finale raffle in November.

Tomorrow is our Club Shoot Sunday/Funday event. This events is open to the public, members $5, non-members $10, 11yrs and under are free. Our shoot is 17 unmarked 3D's targets, hunting conditions, no broadheads, however range finders are OK. It’s a 1 arrow shoot, 2nd arrow if you miss. If you are uncomfortable shooting the longer distances, it’s OK to move up as long as you stay inline with the target.
Optional $2 high/low blind draw money shoot. Included in your fee will be a flying fish clout. Registration will be from 7am to 9am and can be shot in less than two hours. Participation raffle at the end of the event and if not present, you can claim your prize at the following Club Shoot. All losing tickets go to a 2nd chance drawing for a feral goat 3D target to be drawn at the season finale in November, must be present to win

Our 2026 Wednesday Night shoot season has come to a close. We appreciate and thank all the shooters that supported these events over the past 19 weeks. For those that hunt, we hope that you have a safe and successful hunting season. We would also like to thank the members that helped with these events. Their dedication does not go un-noticed. The Lodi Archery generously donated an Elite bow for our raffle. The winner was Hammer Finley. Other season ending winners were Bryn Borras winning a 3D target, Bill Martin winning a Lodi Archery $100 gift card, Doug Eberhart winning a $50 Lodi Archery gift card and Erick Arteaga winning a 2027 season pass. Lastly our worker's raffle winner was Bill Finley winning $100. Congratulations to all the winners!

Activities for our up coming Club Shoot Weekend, taking place on Aug 8th and 9th are as follows.
On Saturday morning, a work-party is scheduled from 8 am to 11 am, during which we will attend to various tasks, see Range Masters for assignments upon arrival. This will be followed by our General Meeting at 12:00 noon, then a short Board meeting
On Sunday, we will be hosting a 17 target unmarked 3D shoot, optional high/low blind draw money shoot along with a flying fish clout. Registration is open at 7am and closes at 9am. Participation raffle will be drawn. Winner will be posted and can be redeemed before you leave or at next month’s shoot. All losing tickets go to a 2nd chance drawing for a feral goat 3D target along with other items to be drawn at the season finale on November 8th, must be present to win. Don’t miss out on the fun! The course can be shot in less than 2 hrs. Hope to see you there!
