📅 MEA break is less than a month away!

If you’re a parent, you might already be thinking about what the kids will do while they’re off school. We’ve got a fun day planned!

Kids ages 6-13 can join us for a full day field trip featuring mini golf and arcade games at Nowhere Entertainment, followed by an afternoon of bowling at Drkula’s Bowling Center. 🎳

Just pack a peanut and tree nut-free lunch and snack, and we’ll take care of the rest!

We’re hiring a part-time, temporary Guest Service Worker to join the team at the Community Center! You’ll be one of the friendly faces greeting members and guests, helping with memberships, answering questions and keeping things running smoothly at the front desk.

🕐 Hours: Afternoons, evenings, and weekends
💰 Pay: $15.04-$16.13/hour

We’re looking for someone with customer service experience who communicates well, enjoys working with people and can keep up in a busy environment (no matching outfits required).

The water park and hot tub are drained, and the work is officially underway! 💦

The water park and hot tub are closed through September 20 for annual maintenance and deep cleaning. And something new is coming to the space next week... stay tuned! 👀

Wet. Hot. Exciting. 😂

That’s how Bailey describes working in aquatics at the VMCC. She’s cross-trained as a lifeguard, aquatics manager and swim instructor, and says working in different roles has given her a whole new perspective, from working with kids to navigating stressful situations.

And when we asked what she’d say to someone thinking about applying?

“Do it!”
