Our community showed up.
Thanks to the generosity of Rivi Members, neighbors and friends, 387.4 pounds of donated food and essential items was delivered to Boulevard Place Food Pantry.
That’s nearly 400 pounds of help headed directly to a community partner serving neighbors in need, including those possibly impacted by the recent flooding.
To everyone who added a few extra items to your grocery cart and dropped off a bag or filled a box — thank you.

RiviFest was a heartwarming good time!
We saw friends, competed, laughed and cheered on kids and adults alike. Most of all, we enjoyed being together as a community.
Thank you to our Rivi staff, Board and Sahm’s for making the evening possible — with a special shoutout to Eddie Sahm for keeping the fun going as our emcee!
😃It was a great turnout and an even better time.
Now we want to see RiviFest through your eyes! Share your favorite photos and moments from the evening in the comments or via the Photo Submission Form.
What was your RiviFest highlight?
Another amazing .

Jennifer and Dave Cataldi didn’t exactly stumble upon The Rivi.
Their friends made sure of that.
After the Cataldis moved to the area, friends began what Jen jokingly calls a “full-court recruiting campaign.”
“Forget brochures — Rivi’s best salespeople are its members! After we moved to Midtown, our longtime Rivi friends were reminding us every chance they got that we needed to join.”
Then the family spent an evening at the pool.
“One Friday night at the pool as ‘guests,’ and that was it. We were completely sold,” she says. “Turns out they knew exactly what they were talking about!”

They came for the pool. They found a place to belong. — The Riviera Club | Indianapolis Recreation and Swim Club For many families, the outdoor pool is their introduction to The Rivi. Summer makes the appeal easy to understand: swimming, friends, dinner by the pool and kids asking if they can come back again tomorrow. But look beyond the pool to what the Cataldis were really hoping to find: more quality family

Help Us Stock the Boulevard Place Food Pantry
In the wake of this weekend’s historic flooding, the community has responded in an extraordinary way. Many organizations are collecting donations and providing direct assistance to families affected by the flooding.
At The Rivi, we’re focusing our efforts on one of our longtime community partners: Boulevard Place Food Pantry.
This Thursday and Saturday, members and non-members are invited to bring non-perishable food and essential items to The Rivi. We’ll collect everything at the Club and transport the donations.
The Pantry serves families throughout our community, including neighbors facing increased need following the flooding. Supporting the Pantry helps strengthen an organization that will continue serving our community long after the immediate recovery efforts.
Suggested donations include non-perishable items such as canned goods, peanut butter, pasta, rice, cereal, boxed meals; there also is some need for baby food, diapers and wipes and personal hygiene items.
And our Rivi community is already making an impact — The Riviera Foundation Garden Group has donated more than 220 pounds of fresh produce so far to the Pantry this year.
You don’t have to be a Rivi Member to participate. If you’re nearby and would like to help, simply bring your donations to The Rivi Clubhouse Thursday or Saturday. We’ll take it from there.
