Two years ago, we decided to create a soccer ministry in Cap-Haitien, Haiti, and a few weeks ago we were able to visit and see the amazing work that God is doing...

Haiti is the most populous nation in the Caribbean, home to approximately 12 million people. While it is one of the most beautiful places in the world, it has also been plagued by gang warfare, food insecurity, displacement, and economic challenges, leaving many people to flee the capital and take refuge in Cap-Haitien, the second largest city in the country.

Our soccer ministry in Cap-Haitien currently employs a local staff of 9 that serve 86 players, ages 12-17, three days per week. The soccer ministry feeds players, shares the Gospel, and creates real playing opportunities through the club. This past year, multiple players were selected to compete or train with the Haitian Youth National Teams, and one competed at the U17 World Cup.

In our recent visit, we had the privilege of delivering uniforms from our Gear for Good campaign, encouraging the staff for the upcoming season, and hosting two camps in the community. During the camps, we saw God move in the hearts of the players, resulting in nine of them making a first-time decision to follow Jesus.

It was also amazing to bring former Haitian National Team Player and current Impact City FC coach, Jamil Jean Jacques, and see him encourage the next generation of Haitian players in God and in the game!

What exactly is Juniors? Great question... Swipe through to find the full answer, but in short, it's our fun, introductory soccer program for 4-7 year olds. Juniors starts August 17th and will be every Monday at 5:00pm from August 17th to October 26th, 2026.

**Excluding September 7th in observance of Labor Day.

Super cool parent: I can’t believe I forgot to sign my kid up for soccer this fall!

ICFC: It’s not too late to sign up for our Juniors Academy program that starts Monday, August 17th. We have some QUALITY trainers this fall - ALL PLAYED AT THE COLLEGE LEVEL OR HIGHER!

Super cool parent: Oh we’re not at that level. We were just hoping to join a rec league.

ICFC: Juniors Academy is designed for beginners between the ages of 4-8 to fall in love with game of soccer in a fun and safe environment. Our trainers just happen to know a lot about soccer. Did we mention that we will also put you on a team in the MPCC Rec League?

Super cool parent: you’re telling me my kid can get quality coaching and play in actual games on a team?

ICFC: Yes! But you have to register by this Friday, August 14. Mt. Pleasant has been a tremendous blessing and we want to be respectful of the amount of effort they put into making the schedules.

This fall, we’re inviting you to “Play More” at Juniors – our fun, introductory soccer program for 4-7 year olds designed to help them fall in love with the game.

Each week includes soccer instruction, a devotional, and a proper 4v4 match.
Juniors this fall will be every Monday at 5:00pm–6:15pm from August 17th – October 26th, 2026 at MPCC Community Life Center.

**No session on September 7th in observance of Labor Day.
