This is a big one. First and foremost, the flooding over the past week has devastated several communities around our city and we are gathering donations to help support. This is about all of you showing up for your city. Thank you to everyone who has already given what they can and thank you in advance to everyone who donates in person this weekend. We will be taking donations at the tailgate from 4 to kickoff on Saturday.

Second, IT'S LIPAFC! A rivalry older than written history itself. They've found evidence of Indy and LouSh*tty playing early forms of soccer near the Ziggurat of Ur. Some archeologists theorize the terracotta warriors in Qin Shi Huangdi's tomb were gathered to watch LIPAFC. This is the big one folks. It's bigger than football. Show up and be proud.

Third, it is Hispanic Heritage Night at the pitch. As a community that stands for everyone, that includes our Hispanic brothers and sisters. Come learn a bit from your neighbors. There will also be a lot of birria at tailgate so grab some tacos when you drop of your donations.

This past week, Indiana has endured record breaking floods across the central part of the state, and a terrible derecho that has impacted Northwest Indiana. This has resulted in people being displaced or losing everything.

Our match against LouCity FC is this weekend, and as this is normally our most attended match, we're hoping to get as many supplies as possible to make a donation to the City's efforts to help those who need it most.

At tailgate, you'll find a donation area where you can bring supplies that will be taken to the city drop off. We're also calling on Indy Eleven to partner with us for this drive and help spread the word.

Tonight, we had to create a new tradition as Sean McAuley became the longest tenured manager for Indy Eleven. We couldn’t let the moment go uncelebrated. Thank you for all the dedication and effort you’ve put in over the seasons and for always being with the supporters! Special thanks to Harrison for the hard work that went into the banner that we presented Sean!

SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAY! The Insurance FC of Hartford Athletic is making its way to Indy as Indy Eleven takes them on this Sunday at The Mike! They may be the insurance team, but maybe we can introduce a little mayhem! Sean McAuley also breaks club record for most appearances as manager as he joins The Hundred Club! Tailgate opens at 2PM, Lot B!

HEADS UP FAM FEST FOLKS!

DAY ONE of Fam Fest, this Saturday August 1st, is being postponed for early reports of bad weather. I'll update here as soon as I know if/when this will be rescheduled. This was the park cleanup at Douglas Park.

That said, the community kickball game, free BBQ, haircuts, school supplies, and day of just being together in our community on SUNDAY AUG 2nd is STILL ON at Wes Mont Park! See y'all there!
