Congrats to Katie Countryman and Kayley Spicer on a great weekend of competition at the TYR Futures Championships in Austin. The girls earned this trip through years of hard work and commitment and both swam their way into finals against tough competition. Also pictured is Shaine Casas. Sadly, Shaine is not affiliated with WTSC but is one of many swimming celebs and US national team members the girls bumped into during their time in ATX. WTSC is proud of you both!

Every summer at the Indiana Swimming Senior State meet, a ceremony is conducted to recognize the graduating seniors who are going on to swim in college. WTSC has a long tradition of alumni in the college swimming ranks and this year is no exception. Congratulations to Katie Countryman (Bowling Green State University) and Kayley Spicer (McKendree University) on their many club and high school swimming accomplishments and good luck in the next chapters of your careers. Both girls have been tremendous leaders, mentors and role models for their younger teammates. WTSC is proud of you and we will miss you!

WTSC is having a great showing through two days of the Indiana Swimming Senior State Championships. One of many highlights so far, a new Futures cut for Kayley Spicer in the 50 Breaststroke. Congrats Kayley and keep up the good work as we go back into action tomorrow morning.
